BJ Champion has served for over 35+ years as a registered dental hygienist and has gained a reputation for her gentle touch, caring nature, expertise, and positive professional attitude. In launching Champion Dental Hygiene, BJ's passion is to bring prevention, education, beautiful smiles, and confidence to her clients and her community.
Dental cleaning, polishing, whitening, fluoride, sealants, oral cancer screening, and denture cleaning for Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge, Guelph, and area. A sealant is a protective plastic coating applied to the biting surfaces of the back teeth. The sealant forms a hard shield that keeps food and bacteria from getting into the tiny grooves in the teeth and causing decay.
Champion Dental Hygiene is able to work with your dental insurance benefits just like a regular dentist. Fees are generally 30% lower. Fees are based on the Ontario Dental Hygiene Association's suggested fee guide for Registered Dental Hygienists and are generally up to 30% lower than what you might pay at a dentist office.

Was a little bit hesitant as the clinic is located in a residential neighborhood, however, I was reassured after walking in and realizing it looks exactly like a dental clinic inside with the same equipment, along with a more 'homy' feel. In addition, she is very personable and does an excellent job at cleaning teeth. Truly passionate at what she does and this translates to a great experience. Would recommend.

I have suffered through 11 years of Orthodontics with three different Dentists, so many root canals that I have lost count, and one hygienist, that I swear had a jackhammer rather than a pick. So going to the Dentist for any reason, comes with a great deal of trepidation. That was until I met BJ. Her jackhammer is really a pick, and she uses it deftly. There are actually times when it is not unpleasant at all, and for me to say that takes a lot.

Literally the most personable experience I've ever had with a dentist, EVER! BJ was extremely welcoming and had my mom chatting up a storm. She has a very approachable, funny, and comforting demeanour. I was ambivalent about seeing a new dental hygienist because I had been with my previous dentist forever, which was a mistake because I left with an extremely bright, confident smile.
