Many British Columbians have extended health benefits through a workplace group insurance plan. Coverage varies, often with an annual ceiling amount. Sometimes a physician's referral is required for reimbursement of claims. Check with your plan. British Columbians on premium assistance can claim part of their visit to a Registered Massage Therapist through their British Columbia Medical Services Plan (MSP).
BC's Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) are primary health care professionals committed to every aspect of health and pain-free functioning of the body. RMTs evaluate health needs and provide active and passive techniques for complete patient care. Medical physicians regularly refer patients to an RMT.
Please be advised your appointment time has been reserved for you and we require 24 hours notice of cancellation. Same day cancellations will be charged half of the treatment cost. Less than 2 hours notice or no shows will be charged for the full treatment cost. We appreciate the thought but we absolutely cannot accept any form of gratuities for our services.

I was in a car accident last week and needed soft tissue care. I went to one appointment and found Terra to be professional and enjoyable as an RMT. I made further appointments and was called this morning and told that Terra had called in sick and Urban had to cancel 2 hours before my appointment. The other RMT that called was cold and didn't have any care for my situation over the phone at all. I asked the team member if there was anything they could do for me since I was experiencing substantial pain and they said there was nothing they could do except book me in again the next week. I love this clinic. I have been to a few different clinics in town, they all left me disappointed, between staff yelling, the sound of chiropractors working and even the sound of weights smashing. Not here! The staff is talented and locvely, the building is quiet, the parking is free, location is excellent, the direct billing is appreciated. I will never go anywhere else.

This is the BEST massage place I've ever been. I've been searching around for a place of this caliber for quite some time. Staff are friendly/talented/knowledgeable and focus on what is important to you. Urban Massage provide direct billing and online booking making it extremely convenient for busy people!
