The Willowbend Motel and Suites is located in the town of Truro, which is situated in the center of the Province of Nova Scotia on the Glooscap Trail. Truro is often referred to as the HUB of Nova Scotia given its excellent location to all corners of the province. We are 5 minutes from the Bay of Fundy shore where you can view the famous Tidal Bore.
All rooms have been completely renovated to have a fresh modern look so we can make your stay the best ever! Some rooms have laminate flooring. We have top-of-the-line pillow top beds by Simmons Canada, who are rated #1 in the business. We use micro-fibre white duvets and each bed has 4 micro-fibre pillows which are hypo-allergenic.
Guests arriving outside reception opening hours are kindly requested to inform the motel in advance for key arrangements. Please inform Willow Bend Motel in advance of your expected arrival time. Victoria Park is acreas of natural park with hiking trails, handshell, outdoor pool, water spray park, playground, tennis courts, picnic area, tennis courts, washrooms and baseball field. A winding stream flows through a deep gorge, where there are picturesque watefalls: Joe Howe Falls and Waddell Falls.

The staff were very friendly and the outdoor pool very nice. The room had been renovated nicely but the bathroom was still outdated. The beds were super comfortable. I was disappointed with the cleanliness, there was dirt marks in the bathroom door around the handle and also the rug needed shampooing. As well they should make it clear that there is no breakfast included as advertised on the website. And the price should be reflected. We paid $200 for the night for the suite which I feel is expensive.

The manager went above and beyond for us. We had an issue with TV and he came and fixed it asap. Then we ended up with a leak through our smoke detector due to the heavy rain and it set off alarm so he came quickly and moved us to another room and also gave us a discount for our trouble. The rooms were beautiful and we will be back again for another stay soon. Great place and very affordable rates while feeling like you are in an expensive hotel. Thanks so much for everything.

This motel has style. Pretty modern looking and chic. Its my 2nd time here. They have a heated outdoor pool which is nice. Its also pretty cheap which is a bonus. Not every room is the same which I find pretty cool. The staff are super friendly- the receptionist was willing to give me his cell number because we were gonna show up after they closed for the night. The rooms are clean and the body wash smells good. My only suggestions for improvement would be to put a chandelier where the medallion on the ceilings is and either change out the smoke detectors or paint them white to match the rest of

We have stayed at Willow Bend several times over the past 9 years and we love each stay. The staff are super friendly and very accommodating. They make sure you have an amazing stay and go above and beyond with customer service and making sure everything is perfect for your stay. We stayed in a suite beside the heated pool and had a relaxing night away. It's our go-to place when we are in the area and we have even made it a point to make travel plans around planning on at least getting one night in here. The grounds are wonderfully kept, the rooms are super clean and the whole experience leaves
