Over the past several years, Tapenade has earned the reputation of being an exceptional neighbourhood bistro with great food, outstanding service and fantastic wine. The menu is steeped in French tradition, though is updated with west coast sensibility and is presented in an approachable and informal setting. Our "simple, yet elegant" cuisine showcases the natural beauty of local, sustainable and seasonal ingredients in an appropriate and sumptuous manner.

At Tapenade Bistro, we carefully select interesting wines that compliment our cuisine and tasty wines that we happen to enjoy ourselves. Our goal was not to have the biggest or fanciest wine list, but rather a eclectic list that suits our guests and their occasions. We have a long history with small independent BC producers and regularly feature their wines.
Tapenade Bistro is pleased to support our local communities and charities. Since 2003 we have been a part of the Steveston community and have placed priority on local Steveston / Richmond initiatives. We know that each and every request we receive supports a wonderful cause and we are honoured to be included in so many great initiatives.
