About the Taxi Services
Having relocated from Toronto, ON
You can imagine the surprise
When the meter starts at $6.00 +
They have you over a barrel because
It's the ONLY option you have to get to work
It doesn't matter what time of the day you call
If you wait until the last minute
You won't get where you need to, ON TIME
I quickly learned it was better to call
24 hours in advance, just to be sure, but

My driver caused a car accident at the intersection I was waiting on the otherwise of, he wasn't paying attention and ran a stop sign. Obviously that got me a little hesitant to call them and ask for another cab, but a did anyways; the second driver they sent was, a kind fella, had good music taste, and the cab was very clean.
Their pricing is around 4$ more than I'm used to paying in other cities for cabs.

Always had good and prompt services from them.
Wish they had a texting system to confirm the taxi is coming, but never had an issue.
Phone receptionist was courtous and seemed to have happy/friendly tone of voice, which felt great.
Vehicle was clean. Driver helped me load my luggages and waited for me to get in before he left.

Gary and Trius drivers helped organize a scared elderly traveller that couldn't get picked up at the airport as planned due to freezing rain. They sorted out getting the message to her at the airport (since the airlines were unhelpful!), tracked her flight, had to drive out two different times, then took her to her hotel, handled her luggage and helped her get checked in! Thanks, Trius - we'll be using you again! Much appreciated!

Witness some aggressive dangerous driving done by one of their driver ( TriusVan with Remax decal licenses plate h23 423) around 445 today on Lincoln Rd from Oromocto heading to Lincoln/Fredericton.
The driver tailgate the driver in front of him for quiet some time then decided to pass him ( on a solid yellow line ) and almost cause a head on collision with on coming traffic .

Trius taxi ANSWERED their phone, arrived promptly and got me to work on time. For a 5 minute drive, 3km drive, it cost me $10.10, the metre started at $6.50. I consider this a fair price. Not sure if Trius and ABC taxi are the same company or just operate out of the same building because the address to both places are the same. Not sure if Trius taxi usually serves the town of Oromocto, but after not getting through to the taxi company that claims to serve Oromocto, I called Trius and the the dispatcher said she could send a taxi that had just cleared the airport. With my car being in the garage
