Our services are considered essential. We are conducting patient visits, by appointment only, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Phone calls are returned on Tuesdays and Fridays. We are committing staff to direct patient care and have no staff dedicated to answering the phone. We continue to prioritize patients in urgent need; however, we are still able to see many patients in non-urgent need.
We are continuing to book appointments 1-2 days in advance with prepayment (with credit card or etransfer). I anticipate we will continue with this manner of booking of appointments for the foreseeable future. We will do our best to return your call, text or email but may not return it until we have an appointment available.

Being well-prepared for your appointment will ensure that the Chiropodist has all of the needed information to provide the best possible care for you. It also will help relieve any unnecessary anxiety you may be feeling. Educate yourself on your symptoms by reviewing the content on this Web site. Also, take some time to review our staff page and familiarize yourself with the Chiropodist.
Understanding the basic construction of shoes will help you make more informed decisions and select shoes that fit your foot and needs. The material from which a shoe is made can affect fit and comfort. Softer materials decrease the amount of pressure the shoe places on the foot. Stiff materials can cause blisters.
Athletic footwear should be fitted to hold the foot in the position that's most natural to the movement involved. Athletic shoes protect your feet from stresses encountered in a given sport and to give the player more traction. The differences in design and variations in material, weight, lacing characteristics, and other factors among athletic shoes are meant to protect the areas of the feet that encounter the most stress.
Everything from serious foot disorders to more common foot and ankle conditions can be exacerbated by one, avoidable cause: inappropriate, poor quality, and/or ill-fitting shoes. Any chiropodist will tell you that a quality, properly fitted shoe pays big dividends for your feet-now and in the future.
Choosing shoes for your children can play a critical role in their musculoskeletal development, including their posture. In general, infants just learning to walk do not need shoes. Infants may go barefooted indoors, or wear only a pair of socks. This helps the foot grow normally and develop its muscles and strength as well as encourages the grasping ability of toes.

When I was living in Ontario in the area of Midland. I started with this clinic way back in the early 2000s. Since then for about over 10 yrs I went there. This place has been my professional, friendly and has been most educational and done everything that has been to benefit my foot care. I highly recommend this and you will not be disappointed! From Erin Fairbanks to her wonderful staff. You'll walk with corrected healthy feet.

I had to visit the clinic to treat my toe after a marathon. Erin and the staff were professional the office was clean and inviting and most of all they treated my issues and got me back pain free on my feet. I always recommend the clinic to people who want friendly professional service and results. Well done!
