Tillsonburg Soccer Club strives to provide safe, affordable, high-quality programs and facilities for soccer enthusiasts of all ages. As one of Tillsonburg's largest youth organizations, we aim to develop more than just athletic ability, but character and teamwork too. We are a not-for-profit, volunteer run, sports club that offers recreational, developmental and competitive soccer to local youth from U4 to U18, and adults alike.
Services
Organized soccer began in Tillsonburg in 1958 with the Tillsonburg Athletics (founded by Henry Ghesquire), playing wherever a game could be played-often on uneven, stoney fields. A second adult team was added in 1964 when Tillsonburg United was founded by Lou Sargent. 1978 saw the founding of Tillsonburg Mini Soccer by Ches Sulkowski and Ed DeDecker.
Tillsonburg Minor Soccer Club exists to provide a positive sports experience for all members that is fostered in an environment of respect, camaraderie, and the promotion of healthy lifestyles. The governing principles by which the Club will operate its youth system are based upon the Long Term Player Development model formulated and purported by the Canadian Soccer Association and the Ontario Soccer Association.
You create the volunteer profile when you create your registration profile. Or, contact one of our Executive or Committee Members. All coaches involved in Tillsonburg Soccer are required to complete a PVSC, in the name of Tillsonburg Minor Soccer Club, and submit it to the convenors as early in the year as possible.
If the call is unanswered, you will be directed to the individual's mailbox to leave a message. There are many areas where we need assistance. Everything from coaching recreational teams to assisting at specific club events relies upon dedicated volunteers. We also have a program to provide opportunities for Community Service hours to students!
In order to receive a refund of registration fees, you are required to compete the following form. Please note that refunds may be subject to a $35 Administration Fee. Please note that refunds may be subjected to an administration fee of $35. Refunds will be paid in the same manner in which registration fees were paid: if fees were paid using VISA or MasterCard, then the refund will be issued to that card.
