Periodic eye exams are important to assess vision and eye health. Our comprehensive eye exams will not only ensure that you are seeing your best but that your eyes are healthy too. We will check for various eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma and retina problems. Left undiagnosed, these conditions can lead to permanent vision loss.
Most children rely on their vision to help them learn and succeed. In fact, up to 80% of a child's learning takes place visually. This isn't just true for academic skills such as reading and writing, but for fundamental skills like walking and talking. Regular eye exams allow us to track your child's eye health and ensure they see the world clearly.
Red Eye is a condition that occurs when the blood vessels that sit between in the sclera (the white portion of our eye) and the overlying clear conjunctiva of the eye become inflamed. When this happens the sclera may appear to be tinted red or pink, or squiggly red or pink lines may appear on it. There are a variety of symptoms associated with red eye, which can occur in one or both eyes.
Many eye diseases are asymptomatic, meaning they don't typically present any noticeable symptoms. Conditions like glaucoma and age-related macular degeneration slowly but surely damage your eyes, resulting in cumulative vision loss. By the time patients notice the changes to their vision, the loss is often significant and irreversible.

My daughter had been experiencing daily headaches, eye strain, and increasing difficulties with reading and schoolwork (skipping words, difficulty moving from line to line on a page, etc). Her binocular vision difficulty had been missed by other doctors and optometrists at other clinics. Dr Quinn at Abbey Eye Care was the first to recognize and diagnose this for her. He and her Vision Therapist developed a customized therapy program for my daughter including in-clinic, home exercises and computer exercises. I have been bringing my three daughters to see Dr. Tina for many years. All three of my daughters are currently being managed using the myopia options available (glasses/contacts) to help slow down the progression of their nearsightedness. It has been going well thus far.
Dr. Tina is very kind, patient and always willing to answer all my questions. She makes sure I have all the information I need before making any decisions with my children's vision needs.
Front staff is also very welcoming and friendly.

Dr. Quinn was the first practitioner that I have met in my adult life with both the skill to treat all my underlying eye issues, and the patience to take the extra time to help us both understand the challenges and develop a comprehensive treatment plan. I had an excellent experience at Abbey Eye Care. I saw Dr. Quinn and Jen for vision therapy after a concussion. They did a phenomanal job of setting up a plan and supporting me throughout my treatment. While the therapy was sometimes difficult, as the weeks went on I saw great progress with my symptoms. My only regret is that I didn't begin seeing them earlier! Other staff was friendly and professional as well.

Our family has been going to Abbey Eye Care for the past 3 years and we have always received the the very best service and care there. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and the doctors are very thorough and compassionate. We have seen 3 different doctors there, and each of them were fantastic. Last year one of my daughters was hit in the eye with a skipping rope and she was in a lot of pain. We were very worried and so we called Abbey Eye Care. I had a severe corneal abrasion and was in a lot of pain. After seeing other optometrist with wrong solutions, Dr. Tina’s diagnosis and remedy were on point and sped up the recovery process. Staff is extremely friendly and professional.
Dr. Tina and Dr. Phyllis are very calm, compassionate, professional and highly knowledgeable. My eyes have never felt more secure. I am grateful to be their patient. Would highly recommend this clinic to anyone!

We found Abbey Eye Care because of EnChroma. The service was excellent. We were able to test my son's colour deficiency and confirm the glasses work for him. The selection is far better than what can be ordered through the company's own website. From the time you step into Abbey Eye Care till the time you leave, you will find the best costumer care. The Receptionist is caring, attentive and makes you very comfortable. My family are long time patients at Abbey Eye Care and the service we have always received is fantastic. The staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient and the doctors are extremely knowledgeable and caring. Since my entire family wears glasses, I find the staff to be very considerate of our budget constraints and help us to find glasses of top quality at a reasonable price.
