At Dr. Fabian Tai & Associates, we pride ourselves in providing the highest quality vision care to our patients. Your eye exam may take up to one hour. Please bring any current glasses or sunglasses that you wear as well as a list of medications you are taking. You may have dilating drops placed in your eyes that may cause light sensitivity afterwards; please bring a driver if you do not feel comfortable driving.

Research shows that over 80% of what we learn comes from the visual system. That percentage goes up even more when one is talking about sports because the eyes direct the movement of the body. Strong visual skills are critical to sports success. The difference between elite athletes in making it to the next level is very small.
Vision Therapy is a combination of skills, some of which include, but is not limited to tracking, fixation, focus change, depth perception, peripheral vision, binocularity and visualization. Vision Therapy is an office based, doctor supervised treatment program that uses a series of eye exercises to improve one's vision and many related areas of one's life as well.

Surprised to see all positive reviews. I visited him couple of months earlier and he asked me to perform (Optional) but are not covered by OHIP. I asked if it is required to treat my eye allergy that I have booked appointment for? He told me not these tests are to make me his patient and will keep these records for future treatment. I told him that I am not interested to pay at this time, you have charged OHIP already, please prescribe me the medication but he refused and said I must pay for "Optional" computer scanning, otherwise he is not going to see or give me treatment for my eyes. This place is amazing. They truly show passion for results and great customer service. Vision therapy has helped my daughter so much. She has overcomed many challenges that impaired vision can caise even when you dont know you have them. Dr.Fabian Tai and Associates really analize the overall vision impairment and definitely recommends the right treatment for your goal in vision improvement.if the dedi ation is there results are reachable. In less then a year .y daighter was avle to lower her eye prescription thanks to vision therapy.

First time coming here and have to say.. everyone working here is amazing. Dr. Fabian truly cares about his patients and goes out of his way to help you understand any underlying issues. Made me feel very comfortable and he's really thorough! I've been to other optometrists in the past and it's a world of difference in professionalism and care.
The staff working there are also very friendly and professional - very easy to reschedule and always send reminders which is really appreciated. This is going to be my new optometry and will recommend this place to all my friends and family!

My daughter was referred to Dr. Fabian Tai's office for double vision assessment. The assessment was a very interesting and enlightening. Through various tasks and methods Dr. Tai and his team showed us that sight is affected by so many factors, including the body positions and brain connections. He met my daughter for the first time but during the assessment he was able to point out certain things in my daughter's every day behavior, that I could not believe my ears. That is when I realized that Dr. Tai is a TOP LEVEL professional in his field and it is worth trying out his method of vision therapy

I would highly recommend Vision Therapy if you are suffering from PCS or if you are struggling with vision issues, vision inabilities and the ripple effects of Traumatic Brain Injury.

Dr. Tai is the consummate professional. I met with Dr. Tai and his most kind and caring staff today. I hadn't been to an optometrist in over 20 years so wasn't sure what to expect. The experience was as good as it can get. Dr. Tai and his associates are very thorough checking for all aspects of eye health. He found some minor concerns that need to be monitored. Dr.Tai genuinely cares about his patients; he is in it to help people improve their eyesight and lifestyle. I have had an exceptional experience with Dr. Fabian Tai and all the staff that I interacted with in my time here. The environment is very welcoming and friendly, and the staff are very receptive to the needs and expectations of patients of all ages.
I first got in touch with Dr. Tai and his staff in January 2019 to get a comprehensive eye exam and find out what was really going on with my eyes.
I needed to meet requirements to qualify as a candidate for firefighting. Through the Vision Therapy program that I did for approximately 7 months with Stephanie, I was able to exceed those expectations

Dr. Tai is my family optometrist for the past 9 years. He always exceeds my expectations, not only in terms of medical experies, but also patient care and personal interest in his patients. He is very thorough, and was able to diagnose my daughter vision problem which wasn't easy to diagnose. His 3 months treatment improved my daughter vision almost in couple weeks, my daughter marks started to getting better, her confidence and overall willingness to improve was impressive. My Mom and kids love him. Also, the staff is amazing, having a properly staffed practice is essential for patient experience

I am so thankful for Dr. Tai and Associates. Our son did a year of vision therapy at the office, and it has made a world of difference for our son, his vision, and our family. Our son has a number of vision challenges, and at one check up Dr. Tai suggested we do a test to see if he could benefit from Vision Therapy. I was reluctant at first.
