Bluebird Daycare has a licensed capacity of 12 Infant and Toddler children and 8 Pre-school children (36 months-5 years). We recently completed a renovation which has expanded our program offerings to accommodate children between the ages of 36 Months to School Age. Services
Our daycare has educated hundreds of children since 2004, and was founded by Puran Bagheri. Puran has many years of experience in childhood education. She also has extensive education in the field of early childhood education. She has an Infant/Toddler Certificate, a Special Needs Certificate, and a Montessori Diploma in addition to her Early Childhood Education Certificate.
Our daycare works hard to stay posted on the most up-to-date teaching methods. We are constantly developing our curriculum but maintain basic methods that we believe nurture children's learning. Our methods are exemplified in the activities we do with the kids. We like kids to learn by doing things themselves and provide them with an endless amount of enthusiasm as well as tools to explore with.

My daughter had been enrolled in Bluebird from age 3.5y. She was always willing to go there and we found her always happy at pick-up time. She began with no experience in English and rapidly developed her language skills, even including very basic writing and counting in English. All this during a single year. Bluebird provides a systematic approach to children's early development and education. This is a great advantage versus small family day care. My daughter is well prepared for kindergarten. A lunch is also not left to chance. The team encourage children to eat properly. We almost always left

If you are looking for a place where the owner and the staff truly care about children and their wellbeing Bluebird daycare is the right place for your family. Puran and her team act very professional and accompany any request you have for your child as long as it is not against their policies.
They are also very understanding of parents leaving their child for the first time in daycare and help both the child and parents have a smooth transition into this major change.

Our daughter has been at Bluebird for some time now, and I am so glad I made the choice to enroll her here. We refer to all the caregivers as her "aunties" and she is always smiling when I come to pick her up at the end of my work day. Puran and her team are amazingly loving, generous people who evidently care an enormous amount about the children and their well being. I feel blessed to have such an amazing facility so close to my home and work.

Our son has been at this daycare since he was 10 months old and we wouldn't want him to be anywhere else; I would recommend Bluebird to any parent that wants their child to develop social, cognitive and physical skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
Puran and her team are adored by the children and their parents and genuinely care for each child under their care. There is a huge issue with access to quality daycare in Vancouver and its surrounding cities and municipalities. Sadly, many parents have limited options as to where they can place their children while feeling comfortable and happy in doing so. My husband and I consider ourselves unbelievably fortunate to have found a daycare facility that not only provides our child with quality care, but also provides him with access to a positive learning environment. We enrolled our 14month old son at another daycare, because we thought a social setting would help him get comfortable around other people and be more social. He was extremely shy and would cry a lot near strangers. I gave him a few weeks to settle but clearly he was very unhappy there and in just 2 months, I was searching again for someone who would understand the situation and help my son get through that phase. I visited 3-4 daycares before coming to Bluebird. After I met Puran, I knew this was the place for him. She really listened to my concerns. She is great with kids; very patient, caring

Our daughter has been going to Bluebird Daycare since she was 10 months old and absolutely loves it! The owner and care workers are kind and loving with the children. Anytime I drop off or pick our daughter, I see the children having fun.
Not sure where someone got the idea Bluebird are spanking the children, perhaps that's a problem in their own home.
It is difficult leaving your child in daycare for the first time, but this has been an excellent experience for us.
We highly recommend this daycare and I'm sure others will agree.

Our experience has been amazing. Me and my husband are first time parents as well, and Puran made the transition into daycare a positive experience. As a therapist, I wanted a daycare that met both educational and lifeskills milestones for our son. He has been with the centre since he was 10 months olld and always comes home happy. They really treat him with care at the daycare and he is a happy child at home who knows how to share and interact nicely with other kids. I know that the staff really love and cherish my son. From the daddy- Bluebird Daycare is a home away from home for our son! We looked at many daycare options and after visiting at least a dozen on the north shore and near our work, we went back to the first one we visited which was Bluebird. Our son has been in now for over 7 months and loves it. Puran has assembled an amazing team and I would highly recommend Bluebird to any caring parents. Leaving a child in daycare especially for the first time can be and was very hard but knowing that he is so cared for by the Bluebird family is a special feeling. I would be happy to share our wonderful experience
