We are an active community of people who love life. Our classes and sessions empower you to surf life's waves with ease, knowledge and compassion. We honour our bodies as temples, tend to our spirits and feel connected to our environment and the people around us. As lovers of life, we use the tools of yoga poses, breath, inquiry and meditation to inhabit the world with an adaptable and free body, mind and heart.
We honour the diversity of our teachers and acknowledge the 5000 year old tradition of yoga is rooted in the history and people of the sub-continent of India. Our studio is closed tomorrow to honour National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Not because this is a holiday, but in the hopes that this change in routine will encourage us and others to take.

Without exaggeration, this place completely changed and transformed my life and way of living. When I started going, I hoped my chronic shoulder and neck issues would get better... they did! However, this is just a tiny part of the positive impact that Purple Lotus has had on my life. Forever grateful and still utterly awed.

We enrolled into the Beginner's Yoga. Camala is a wonderful instructor who knows and understands yoga, as well as what the layperson needs. She has a lovely sense of humour; is laid back but insures that practitioners have correct alignment. Her kind encouragement and acknowledgement that yoga is something that should never be "uncomfortable" is refreshing.
