We started out as a small service that we operated out of our home in 1980, moving to an actual storefront operation in 1982 for easier access to parts.
Today, our company is operated by the original owners' son who continues our proud family tradition of providing in-home services for most major domestic appliances. Our repair technicians are well-qualified and experienced, and our company is factory authorized for parts and service. Our staff at the store is very friendly and knowledgeable about parts.

If you don't necessarily need a part or a repair, we would be more than happy to offer professional suggestions and help you troubleshoot over the phone if you're checking fuses, cleaning out your dryer vent, unsure why your oven or dryer isn't working, etc. You can also bring in certain parts/elements and we will check them out for you for free.
Are you unsure about where to look when asked about your appliance's model number? Bowen's Appliance Repair Service has assembled this handy reference list separated by category of appliance. Most microwaves have their serial and model numbers either behind their door, on the front of the unit, on their side control panel, inside on the upper left-hand side or on the back of the unit.

Got a call from a rude person from Bowen’s asking for a credit card to keep on file before they would give us an estimate. When I ask about their security practices they could not give a satisfactory response. We can’t deal with a company that can not protect your credit card. Plus their attitude is aggressive and not friendly at all.

We called Bowen's to repair our gas dryer which is (we think) more than 20 years old. They came promptly and fixed it in the most economical way possible. The technician was friendly and nice to our dogs. We try to fix things instead of replacing them whenever possible. Our dryer now runs like new, we saved a ton of money and we are very happy with the service.

I called due to a broken washer. They told me they gave free estimates. The man showed up and would call later telling me the part for my 30 year old machine was over $200. I said I would pass on the repair. For the next month, the woman at the front desk harassed my phone demanding $88 for the call which was advertised as free. They actually sent it to collections. Don't trust this business they are not trustworthy.

Our dryer wasn't heating, and they diagnosed the problem quickly, and were able to fix it within 24 hours of my call. My phone call was pleasant in booking my appointment
The Service technician was professional, efficient, and transparent on what he was doing every step of the way.
Payment was easy using a e-transfer online banking.
So so pleased to have our dryer working again for this family of 6!
