The best Apple fritters you’ve ever had can be found at this hidden gem in Waterdown. We went for a nice hike near by and ended it off with a sweet treat. I’d come back just for the fritters!

A friend recommended this Waterdown Cafe and it is one of my favourites now. They make the best lattes and have a great selection of menu items for breakfast or lunch. They are famous for their apple fritters! Helen (the best) and the other staff are so friendly and customer service oriented. Six stars out of five! Been there five times since July and I am looking forward to going back.

First of all, the apple fritters are to die for. They are a must if you go here. My friend and I split a sandwich, I believe it was turkey avocado and that was also amazing. The employee had recommended it as one of their most popular sandwiches and it was a wonderful choice. Their drinks are great as well, I had an iced chai latte which had just enough sweetness, although if you dont like sweetener in your drinks I would let them know beforehand. My friend said her iced latte was good.
Everything was wonderful, no complaints here. I will definitely be back soon.

Beautiful cafe! So much bigger inside than I thought. The apple fritters are a must, they also have pear fritters which would be delicious. You can watch your fritters being made through the glass window. Look forward to trying a coffee and sandwich next time. Staff was friendly and helpful.

5 stars Cafe!!! MUST TRY- Honey Oat Latte - Rich and tasty, not too much milk but really smooth, a little honey taste bring it to another level. Another MUST TRY - Apple Fritter - I’m not a dessert lover, but I fall in love with this one, I don’t know how to describe, you really need to try it by yourself.
Staffs are friendly and polite.
I’ll be back, for sure 👍

Very Charming Cafe serving delicious homemade soup and sandwiches. Their desserts are delectable! The fried cheesecake was decadent and those apple fritters are famous for a reason! Highly recommended!

Definitely one of the best cafes in Waterdown, and one of the more cleaner places. The atmosphere was set quite nicely, but the problems started with the service. They will ignore you until you specifically tell them you wish to order, and they will slowly come over. The food tasted quite nice as well, except there was a strand of hair under the sandwich, and the apple fritter was undercooked. I would recommend, and seeing the high ratings, this does not happen often, but this was simply my opinion of the place, will be coming back to see if they have fixed their mistakes.

Our first time at Copper Kettle Cafe and we were very happy and impressed with the original and delicious sandwiches and the soups. We were too full to have any of the fritters so plan to go back. We recommend a stop here if you are in the Waterdown area.

It’s too bad because the Apple fritters are very good. Service was honestly really bad. Staff didn’t seem to care at all about providing good service. Not sure if the owners were on site but if I owned this place, I would be concerned. Food took far too long to be served.

4.5 stars, but will push it to 5 on the aggregate based on the perfect timing of the visit which really hit the spot.

My family and I had just done a walk on the trails by the waterfall just down the road. Nothing could hit the spot more after a winter's hike than a cozy place to sit and warm food and drinks.

I wasn't aware that Brown Dog Cafe had closed in Hamilton, but it would make sense that this is the same owner since they serve the identical apple (and pear) fritters. Really, if serving made-to-order fritters isn't enough to put you above other cafes, I'm not sure

This is a super cute little cafe in Waterdown that we accidentally found while traveling around. So glad we needed to stop! If we lived in the area, this would be my work space for sure. But as travelers, this was a great pit stop for coffee. Their pumpkin pie latte was tasty. They even suggested we check out their neighbouring store, which is a chocolate store. Such a great suggestion! We'll be making a stop in Waterdown again the next time we pass through. The chamber of commerce should be super proud to have this little shop in town!

Great coffee. Nice and friendly staff. Great dark atmosphere but for goodness sake upgrade your seating. I felt like I was going to break every chair I sat on. I met friends and we all said we would have stayed longer and had more to drink but we were uncomfortable. Looking for a local comfy coffee shop to call my own. Please help Copper Kettle!

Really enjoyed this cafe! Stopped by for lunch and it was surprisingly pretty busy. The decor and small touches are very endearing. We ordered the copper caesar salad with chicken and the kettle club. The food was enjoyable. especially liked the kale in the caesar salad, but the chicken didn't seem to be very fresh. It had a very "reheated/microwaved" taste to it. But considering this is a cafe and not a restaurant, i thought the food was impressive. Didn't get a chance to try any sweet snacks, which was unfortunate since it seemed that the apple fritters were made fresh to

It's been years since I've been on Watertown but boy was I glad we came thru.
After dinner and time at the Casino we decided to go for coffee. Talk about luck.
They are known for their fritters, apple or pear. Yum to both. They use local apples, and their coffee was great. They have an extensive menu that includes vegetarian fair. A must try for anyone. We'll be going there again next time we hit the casino.

Great open space that feels warm and welcoming. There are couches and tables depending what state of relaxing you're looking for.

Order and pay at cash and they bring it to your table. We ordered the Caesar with and roasted beet salad. Fresh greens with apple, roasted beets, sweet potato, pumpkin seeds, red onion, cranberries, and goat cheese with a poppyseed dressing. Yum. Friendly service and food came out quickly.

On the suggestion of a friend, we met up here for coffee and a chat. We were thinking this was going to be a small town coffee shop with a few pastries and coffee and maybe tea. Far from it. This was a full blown café with different flavours and types of coffees, tea, hot and iced and all kinds of food. It was incredibly busy but we managed to find a table. Even though it was full inside, it still felt homey and was quiet enough we could chat comfortably. A great place to go.

If your ever looking to visit a Cafe with a group of staff who run it with a heart of gold, then definitely give this place a try when in the Waterdown area!

Cooper Kettle has become a household name in Waterdown thanks to the amazing apple and pear fritters they make on the spot. They even have a viewing station so you can see how they're made as you wait. If you have kids they may enjoy that :)

While the fritters are literally the BOMB, I also enjoy their coffee selection. This in my opinion is how a proper Cafe should run and I'd take this over anything Starbucks tries to offer
