Dr. Hines always knew she wanted to open an optometry clinic, after she fell in love with the North Shore's active lifestyle and beautiful landscape, she decided that North Vancouver would be the place where her dream would come true. It took a full year from finding the blank cement space to turning into the modern fresh clinic that is now known as View Optometry.

If I could give these ladies 10 stars I would.. not only do my new glasses look amazing and my eyes feel great and the service was out of SIGHT!!! Doctor Hines was wonderful with her exam and her staff was so friendly, they helped me picked the best frames for my face.. I love the specs and am so happy I am now a client at View Optometry.

I had PRK laser eye surgery and Dr. Hines has been responsible for all my aftercare checkups. She is super-patient with me and answers questions with clarity. Her staff is also super organized and helpful. I would 10/10 recommend this clinic to anyone who is in search of a stellar, detail-oriented eye specialist | Dr. Hines is incredible at what she does and she does all that while being kind and lovely. Teri is so knowledgeable and thorough. In the past I have had two bouts of shingles in my right eye. In the healing process your eye changes. Teri was able to get me the most precise prescription ever. This being very necessary for my job as a photographer. The glasses are very cool also, I get many compliments on them. Thank you for taking care of me and my eyesight.

My daughters and I recently visited Dr. Hines to have our eyes check and had such a great experience. For me I am now (sadly) into bifocals and have been struggling with finding the right contact lenses that would help me see both near and far. Dr. Hines played with various lenses in order to help me find the best fit without having to depend on reading glasses.
For my daughter she found that at some point she must have injured her eye as she had a deep scar which we never knew about and she's 16! Needless to say Dr. Hines is very thorough in her approach.

I had my eye exam with Dr. Teri Hines and also brought in my dad, who hadn't had his eyes checked in probably forever. My exam was fantastic and very thorough. The technology at View Optometry is modern and they check for things that most other clinics don't. This was especially helpful for my dad, who's in his 70s, just to make sure he's healthy. I highly recommend View Optometry for eye exams for all your family members.

Such a great experience visiting View Optometry and Dr. Hines. Not only is her office beautifully designed and equipped with all the necessary technology for a thorough eye exam, I found Dr. Hines to be very welcoming and easy going. She was very clear and direct during my eye exam and addressed all of my questions and concerns. She also set me up with my favourite new pair of Ray Ban sunglasses!

I just had my first eye exam since childhood and it was pretty amazing. The technology alone is out-of-this-world but more importantly Dr Hines educated me on the importance of eye health and it's role in early detection of glaucoma and diabetes. Something I knew absolutely nothing about. I highly recommend Dr Hines and her team for the whole family.

I am SO glad I found Dr. Hines. Teri was so thorough in my examination, answered all my questions and took the time to explain the results she was noticing. She also was the first to ever notice I have an… astigmatism in both eyes which is causing most of my issues. (Thank you!) She was there through the whole process from start to finish, contact lenses, frames, and was a joy to be around. So knowledgeable, friendly, and has a warm presence that makes you feel right at home. I wouldn't hesitate to send anyone I know to her. Thank you, Dr. Hines! I will be back!
