WBI Home Warranty Ltd. (WBI) began operations in British Columbia in the spring of 2011, with Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Company of Canada (RSA) underwriting the New Home Warranty Insurance policies and the Home Deposit Bonds. Through the agreement with the insurer, WBI acts "as the agent" for RSA.

Not reasonable with their claims. Brand new condo , Westbank( developer) nor WBI home warranty do not want to take any responsibility in an either defective tub or one of the trades dropping an object on the tub. I noticed the crack a few weeks after (which the unit had not been lived in) and they said since I didn't notice it during my walkthrough, the responsibility is mine. I took the maximum allotted time at my homeowner walk though. I am not sure what else I could have done. The approximate cost to fix is probably around $200-300 (which is not a big deal), but the fact that a BRAND NEW CONDO

As a company having to deal with a one year warranty claim, Artikas from WBI was incredible to deal with. Not only did he inform the homeowner of the warranty guidelines he helped us secure a trade to complete the work during these difficult COVID times. COMPLETE GARBAGE. they do not warranty anything. Have issues that are not up to electrical code and they could care less. Also kitchen island is splitting at all joints possession was less then a year ago and they will not fix it. I have never had an issue with home warranty in my previous home with a different company. Def would not recommend then in the slightest. They obviously do not care about there customers.

Their staff is very rude very unfriendy and will lie to you. They will say they havent received claims and if you email them the vice president will tell you to not email their staff and ream you out. They will try everything they can in their power to not pay for any claims. With a title like new home warranty u would think that would mean ur home is new. They do next to no research before giving a warranty. They literally told me their inspection is done twice but isnt as good as a home inspection how could u give someone a warranty with an inspection that isnt adequate. My experience with this
