Tuff City Powersports was founded in the spring of 2011 with the belief that Nanaimo was ready for its first locally owned downtown full service Motorcycle and Scooter shop. We are the only source for brands like BETA, Vespa and Piaggio. The revolution that has characterized the latest generation of Enduro bikes now brings us the new 2020 Xtrainer which is back in a completely new guise, following on from the success of previous versions.

Building on the innovations introduced with the 2021 RR 2-strokerange, the engineers at Beta have focused on improving performance, but without compromising the user-friendliness that has always been the Xtrainer hallmark. We are Vancouver Island's only Vespa and Piaggio dealer here to look after all service and sales.

Very impressive customer service that is honest, helpful and judgement-free! This is a business you really want to support because they no doubt have a hugely positive impact in the motorcycle/scooter community on Van Isl. They now seem to be the only a Vespa dealer on the island, which is totally fine because I cannot recommend more highly.

Went in to get a replacement brake lever a few weeks ago, and the staff was so incredibly helpful. They really went above and beyond to get me on the road again safely. Could not have been a better experience. Well deserved 5/5 stars

These guys are the best!! They provide great service in the garage AND the showroom! Best selection of used bikes in town, new bikes on the floor every week or so, sometimes i just go in to see the new inventory. Real local friendly and family feel as soon as you walk in.

Great guys! I had bought a new gas cap and the "easy" installation proved way more difficult than anticipated. The Tuff City guy spent the better part of a half hour helping me figure out the installation on a part they didn't even sell me and saved my butt. I will definitely go back for gear in the future.

Dave and Nick at Tuff City are fantastic! I have an old 3 wheeler that needed some very minor work done to the brakes and even though the job was small they still treated me like any other customer. The service was quick, on time, personable and they do what they say. They explained in detail what they did as well as provided free advice on how to keep the machine maintained. I was very impressed and would 100% recommend. Thanks guys!

Not impressed. I email before hand to get a quote. This was the reply. Hi Kye, we can certainly do that, valve adjustment on a Sherpa will take about 30-45 mins and with an oil flush youre looking at about an hour. We are $100 / hr shop rate. I then went to pick up my bike and was told the bill was almost $500. I did ask them to do a general check over so I was excepting to pay close to $200. They took it upon them self's to do the work that was found and not call me before hand. I will not be returning in the future.
