We are located on the edge of Stratford. Driving from the east (Toronto, Kitchener) we are on the right just after the road wides into 4 lanes, look for our blue sign. From the Stratford direction we are on the left hand side just after the S-curve in road by the little lake. Stratford was recently voted one of the friendliest places in Canada!

A lovely older, yet updated motel on the eastern outskirts of Stratford by about five minutes further westward along #7, with warm and friendly hosts who have operated the place for twenty-five years and live onsite.
Clean and comfortable with many of the room balconies looking over a farmer's field to the north. All the room amenities that one requires in a standard motel room in a pleasant setting.
Highly recommend for decent location, good quality and a fair price. I will certainly be returning, as will a friend who has previously stayed there over a few years previously with other friends

Room was very clean and smelled nice. The owners are very nice and kind. It was nice seeing a cat mad it feel more like home for us. Housekeeping was wonderful made up our bed for us and took out our garbage. Would definitely recommend this hotel to other people. We will definitely be back here. We enjoyed our stay.

Very nice family run business with good sized rooms. Clean and comfortable. Updated bathrooms.
Only draw back might be for those without individual transportation, however taxi to downtown Stratford comes in at less than $10 one way.
Group rates are fantastic!
I recommend the Suburban for your next Stratford weekend getaway.

My husband and I had the nicest 3 nights at the Stratford Suburban Motel! Mike and Mandy are the perfect hosts and provided us with maps, for running and walking around, as well as a list of their favourite restaurants. Our room was extremely comfortable and so clean. We loved our little balcony and the peaceful view. It was so quiet at night. We really enjoyed our stay and we will definitely stay there again on our next visit. The two plays we saw were magnificent!
