Established in 2007, David Thorne, owner of Dave's Quality Pest Control, has been in the pest control industry since 1984. Our success is two fold. Our clients have been very loyal and our 'Refer a Friend' program has been a great success. Now with over 13 years of pest control service in the Kawartha Lakes region, Dave's Quality Pest Control has grown to include 5 service trucks and 7.5 dedicated employees.
Dave's daughter Ashley handles all of the service bookings and the day-to-day operation of the business, while Dave is still involved with servicing his clients's pest removal and prevention needs. We had wasps that migrated indoors in late fall (20/30 a day buzzing in our rec room/basement in morning and late evening). It’s been a week since the company was in, and we’ve only had a couple dying ones flying around, as was expected. The gentleman that came to do the work was so informative and put our worries to rest. He was COVID friendly, asking about masks, and very sure he could help us. The office was also quick in answering invoicing questions. The price was less than expected. Very satisfied, even if we have to call them again, we would use them in a flash.

We had our house sprayed for spiders yesterday. We also have had a massive Gypsy moth infestation. Not only are the spiders gone but our Gypsy moth caterpillars are all DEAD. thank you so much for spraying, the service tech was so understanding and did such an amazing job. Very professional. We couldn’t be happier.

Dave came by our place yesterday as we were having an issue with wasps. We have had multiple yellow jackets all around our home and has made it impossible to use our balcony. While there did not appear to be a nest, we got the house sprayed anyway for some peace of mind. The service was great but most importantly I wanted to give a shout out to Dave. What a character. Very genuine person and knowledgeable. We are happy all around !
