Since 1935, over 25,000 hockey players have passed through Faustina Minor Hockey in Toronto. For over 75 years, our organization has had the pleasure of providing families with an affordable hockey experience in an environment that fosters sportsmanship and skill development. Our House League program is open to kids from all skill levels between ages 5 - 17.

We have gone to great lengths at Faustina to develop a very fun & structured program to maximize player development. I/P. is part of our House League program - you can find information on rates and dates on our main House League Page. Tyke A/B divisions. This season we are going to follow the very successful A/B division format which we have been using in Minor Novice / Novice for the past 2 years.
Hockey Canada has mandated a new structured initiation program for U9 hockey house league programs across Canada. We have gone to great lengths at Faustina to develop a very fun & structured program to maximize player development. The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) and the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL), have mandated the requirement that at least one parent of each player must complete and obtain a parental "Respect In Sport Certification". This program is a one- time requirement and you will not have to recertify each year.
We would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete our recent parents survey to provide feedback to the club. We had 179 completed responses to the survey. For the many volunteers who spend countless hours through the season, it is encouraging to see such positive response on the items above that reflect core values at the club.
The Faustina Hockey Club is operated and organized by the members of the Faustina Sports Club. The Sports Club was founded in 1935 and is a 100% volunteer run organization. Faustina is comprised of volunteers, club members and the club executive. We have a robust volunteer base that assists with various tasks such as time keeping, assistant coaching, and helping at practices or with fundraising.

After a game, the Faustina Hockey Club coach told me that my son was complaining that his head hurts after being hit earlier. The inept coach was totally clueless about Rowan's Law and concussion protocols. Faustina Hockey Club did not have a concussion code of conduct or removal-from-sport protocol as required for children who are suspected of having sustained a concussion. Needless to say, we won’t return to this dysfunctional club.

Regretfully, I didn’t heed to warnings from many parents whose children unnecessarily suffered injuries with Faustina’s lack of safety precautions. I certainly paid the price by taking a chance and remorsefully put my children in harm’s way. Thank goodness there are other much better hockey clubs in the area who truly respect child safety and well-being.

My son joined the Faustina Hockey Club in 2018 and our experience has been very positive. The club prides itself on creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for both players and hockey families. We have experienced hockey at other local organizations but can attest that Faustina is a very well run organization with strong professional volunteer involvement. The practices and games are played in first class facilities in Etobicoke. 2019-2020 was our first year at Faustina for my son. For the last 7 years he was in a different house league. We changed leagues because his previous league had trouble filling the senior age groups. We had a great year with Faustina even though the year was cut short. My son is a house league player and has never played select. He fit in well with the other players on the team and the coach made him feel part of the team. The coach we had balance the lines well and everyone played the same amount of time. We have been with Faustina for 8 years and I couldn't imagine playing anywhere else. The organization is committed to ensuring the kids have fun while learning the game, so that they will love to play hockey even as adults. The amount of personal time the coaches dedicate to this is inspiring. Combine that with the great value & venue - you can't lose... no matter what the score board says.
