Our consultations are completely complimentary and include all photos, x-rays and a doctor examination. Get your questions answered in one convenient appointment. We also offer virtual consultations to provide you with information in the comfort of your home. No referral is needed. At STO Orthodontists, our goal is to make treatment affordable for everyone.
We are a team of orthodontic professionals who strive to provide a unique experience by delivering quality, on-time care in a warm and fun environment. Our team consists of a diverse group of dedicated individuals who bring to our office a wide range of orthodontic experience. Many of us have had orthodontic treatment ourselves and can therefore identify with any concerns you may have along the way.
Dr. Anthony Mair was born in Montreal, raised in Jamaica until age 12, and completed high school in Scarborough. He obtained his dental degree from McGill University in 1987 and his orthodontic degree from the Western University in 1990. In 1992, when it came time to start his own orthodontic practice, Dr. Mair chose to stay with his Scarborough roots.
At STO Orthodontists we celebrate the rich diversity among people. We create customized treatment plans to improve teeth in a way that best suits a person's facial features. We respect your preferences for creating your ideal smile, because one smile does not fit all. We know that not everybody is looking forward to braces, but many more people might like to improve their teeth and bite.
A smile is a very powerful thing. Unfortunately, many young people have dental problems that make them self-conscious and stop them from smiling. Many of these problems can be corrected with orthodontic treatment, but not every family has the financial resources to afford orthodontic treatment.

Wow, what an amazing experience! This was our 2nd consultation for my son, who's tx is going to be extensive. Dr. Mair was very knowledgeable and straight to the point about what treatmemt would be best for my son. They were informative, didn't hesitate to answer the 100 questions I had and made my son and I feel at ease. A cute quote made by the Doc himself " I earned every bit of grey hair on my head!" At this point I knew that Dr. Mair will be my sons Orthodontist!

I had my braces done here. At the time, it was because they had the best location and hours of operation. They also had a lot of perks, like a free Oral B, and better prices and payment plans. They had all the equipment and expertise to do assessments quickly and easily.
After the first year, I had never been more happy about the decision. Beyond the convenience and cost, it was the customer service. The team there is so helpful and happy. They are all clearly proud to be there. It helps with the pain of the adjustments.
Now five years after my braces were taken off, I had to go in to service

The STO team are professional, very efficient and friendly. My daughter was put at ease as soon as we walked through the door. What I appreciate the most is, they value your time! I've never waited more than 15 minutes (on average 5-10 minutes) for my daughter to be seen. I have no hesitation in recommending STO Orthodontist to anyone.

My son says: "they made me feel comfortable so that my mom didn't even have to yell at me" :-)
I had treatment with with Dr. Mair many years ago and now it's my son's turn. He answered all questions/concerns about my son's treatment and makes what he does seem like a piece of cake. I love the confidence!!! The staff are welcoming and they make you comfortable while applying all the rules of covid-19. Thanks STO.
