Services
By leaving a completed application and deposit at our head office located at 274 Osborne St. North, just south of the Winnipeg Art Gallery. Your application must be submitted with a rental deposit, which, in Manitoba, is one half the first month's rent. For applications submitted via email, the rental deposit must be paid within two (2) business days of submitting the application.
Many tenants are unaware that the Insurance carried by the building owners does not provide any insurance coverage to you, the tenant. Your furniture, electronics, clothing & other valuable belongings will not be protected without your own Tenant's Package Policy. You are not protected against personal liability should you cause damage to the building or a neighbour's property, eg.
Once approved, you will forfeit some or all of your deposit if you do not proceed with renting the premises. I understand that this application is subject to the approval of Sussex Realty (as agents for the Landlord) and that the deposit will be returned in full if the application is not accepted. This application form, once submitted, shall remain the property of Sussex Realty and will not be returned.

Absolute WORST rental company EVER!!! So glad I am with a different company after a LONG year. Moved in with a crawl space open in my daughters room which we PAID a relative to have repaired because none of our phone calls seemed to get returned from ANYBODY until our landlord lost our cheque and they hounded us to submit a new one in!!! Place was infested with bugs, nothing was done directly by Sussex! Currently waited on our damage deposit which $100 was taken off of to fix blinds that were fixed when we first moved in???? Not to mention were cheap and did not work which was supposed to be fixed

SUSSEX SUCKS!!!
Ok, where to begin.
First of all, they woudn't give us a place (2 late 20's professionals) without a co signer. We literally showed and printed them bank statements and investment accounts that showed over 50 grand cash. We just moved to Winnipeg, and they said that wasn't good enough, they needed proof that we had 3 times the rental amount in NET income. Do you know how embarrassing it is, as a 29 year old professional to go ask your parents to co-sign?
Second, if you apply for one of their apartments, they hold your damage deposit while they decide if
