Brant Aero was founded in 1972 as an aircraft maintenance company by James T. Field, known to his colleagues and customers alike as Terry. Terry chose Brantford as the company's base of operations for a compelling reason: it is right in the heart of a world-class economic zone. His father, James H. Field, and his brothers, Pat and Bud Field, soon joined him, adding avionics sales and service to Brant Aero's capabilities.
Brant Aero has several licensed, experienced Avionics Maintenance Engineers. Having the right equipment and training, and a wealth of experience, means we are approved, capable, and ready to sell, install and service Nav/Com, GPS, Autopilots, Transponders, ADS-B, and Flight Management Systems.

I had a 1966 Piper Cherokee 6-300 completely redone by Brant Aero and it is incredible. Brant Aero took care of managing the entire interior being redone, new seats, new side panels, new carpet, painting and cleaning up the plastic and on and on. They also took care of a complete new panel with the latest Garmin glass with custom dash and spend… countless hours going through rendition after rendition as they walked me through the countless options available out there. I’ve used this company for many years. I recently made the mistake of using flight line at CYKF since they were located at my home. This was a decision I now regret.... I will now be returning to Brant Aero to have them fix the mistakes. Blain, Dan and Josh are simply excellent, professional and Competent. I will not simply never go anywhere else!

I would like to thanks to Brant Aero. My aircraft radio quit working and I needed to determine if it was radio itself or wiring in my plane. I brought the radio to Brant Aero and they quickly determined that the radio was faulty. I was fully expecting to pay for the diagnostic but I was told that there will be no charge as this was small job.
Great customer service, knowledgable technition. I even got a free coffee out of the deal.

Great Service and a professional team! Just had 2 Narcos repaired and they did an outstanding job, highly recommend their shop for Narco Repair services. Very knowledgeable with products and well thought out recommendations when it comes to upgrading Avionics etc.. After meeting the owner it was evident that his team is a direct reflection of their leadership!! Well Done !!
