Jenna founded this company back in 2007 when she was straight out of university and wishing to carve a new spot in the market for custom invitations that weren't BORING. In a world of beige, buckles and broaches - Jenna had a vision to create sexy, edgy and unique invitations.
The market responded well to her design aesthetic because by 2010, the company had become one of the leading invitation suppliers for the Greater Toronto Area and has been steadily growing ever since!In 2013, Aaron took on the role as co-owner and takes care of scheduling, production and printing. He's the man responsible for making our invitations the absolute highest quality products on the market - and we wouldn't be the same without him!

The cost per piece below is in addition to the custom invitation design services fees, which start at $750 Canadian. We do not sell invitations without custom graphic design services. Please note that prices below are approximate based on the average spend per order. For a more accurate price, please request a quote.
We require that guest addresses and seating chart details be submitted through our own templates. This depends on the qty of invitations you need, and what type of invitation you're looking for. We always take great care to ensure that the information and wording on your invitation is accurate. However - we will provide you with clear and easy to read digital samples for you to approve or make changes to, prior to printing anything.

The Polka Dot Paper Shop team was absolutely amazing to work with! They not only helped me design the perfect custom invitation suite but they also answered all of my questions quickly, made any minor tweak I wanted to my invites & I even ended up ordering a seating chart through them that matched my invitation suite perfectly. Jenna and Aaron and their entire team were so helpful and accommodating throughout the entire process. They designed and created beautiful wedding invitations that were even better than than the ideas I brought to them. A small mix-up on delivery was immediately made right. Once the pandemic changed our plans, they created complimentary change of date cards and then worked with me (a year later than the original date!) to create new beautiful day of items that worked with our now smaller outdoor reception. Everything was beyond expectations and just perfect - thanks again!

Jenna made the experience fun and easy with her first consultation and communicated with us regularly to insure our wedding invitations and day of stationary were personalized, unique and flawless! I could not have been more happy with my invitations and wedding stationary!! Jenna was very responsive with every email and took in every request and detail to make the most beautiful invitations. Everyone raved about how gorgeous they were! Even just a week before the wedding I realized I messed up on something and Jenna and Aaron were so nice about it and quick to get it resolved. I would love to express my gratitude towards Jenna and this company! I've received nothing but compliments on my invitations. They're beautiful. People have literally been posting photos online of my invitation. They've been filming videos of opening it because they loved it so much! I went with the laser cut which came with an RSVP card, envelop and information sheet. I didn't even bother putting a bow on them; which I believe was the right way to go because then they popped when the people took them out of the envelop. I loved them.
