If you read all these 5 stars reviews and think this shop offers the best bang for your $28, then you will be treated like a tourist and get 10-15 mins of an amateur level barber with an attitude. The result felt like I could do a better job myself with a $20 Wahl electric hair clipper set.
Moral of the review - every time you think you can save $10 and enjoy the convenience of walk-ins, you do the walk of shame for a month LOL. Please find a barber who charges at least $40 in Vancouver if you care.

Me, female coming in with a bob. My time here yesterday started quite off putting without even a greeting from the barber as I approached the chair and sat down (second from the right). As we proceeded, I got the vibe that they were overall just uninterested in cutting my hair. I’ve been going to man cave for 5 years now and I’ve always left with a great haircut. I’ve probably got a trim from everyone who works here at some point but for the past 8 months I started seeing Ghazal for cuts and beard trims. She really takes my cuts to another level so I’d recommend seeing her. She does a great skin fade.
I like the fact that you don’t need an appointment, it’s right in yaletown, good music and soccer on the tv screens, good prices and the staff know what the latest hair trends are.

Jon is an absolute master at fades and line work. I've been going to him for years!
I highly recommend him to anyone, he's incredibly skilled and knowledgeable and the peace of mind knowing you're getting a cut done by one of the best is unbeatable. He does an exceptionally good job working with my hair type and his line work on my beard is phenomenal. He's also an all-around solid guy and great to chat with.

My boyfriend has come here many times but each time is different and we've given this shop and location specifically many chances but this one was the last. The barber Farshad was rude and complained it took 45 minutes to do hair as that is his job but took offence to a simple compliment as "that was so fast". as well as lady in the front reception has no customer service skills she was on the phone the entire time while i was trying to pay and offered no receipt as i wanted to know how much i had paid for what service instead was just given a thumbs up. If I have an option of putting 0 stars, I would. They are overpriced and the barber did a lousy job. My hair is uneven and jagged. I wanted a haircut, shampoo, and a blow dry. The lazy barber didn't even put any conditioner in my hair. And she rinsed my hair only ONCE. I made a big mistake tipping them. Avoid at all costs.

Walked in cause I needed a haircut and this place was in the area. Bad decision.
The haircut was rushed without care and despite my specific instructions the male stylist blamed the haircut on the shape of my head. He gave me attitude after seeing I was not pleased with the cut.
As I was speaking to the manager the stylist stood there with more attitude. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of one is because the manager's attempt to dIffise the situation.
If you need a cheap fast haircut maybe this place works for you but don't expect a quality cut or friendly service

Visiting Vancouver, got a haircut from Ramses. Told him exactly what my go-to barber told me to tell him. It turned out horrible. The Fade was a 2/5 and the Top was a 1/5. Instead of taking my advice, he blames me for not giving him clear instructions. Worst customer experience ever. He cuts super fast, in and out in 15 minutes. Instead of checking up with the customer every now and then, he was busy chatting and laughing with other barbers. Very very disappointed with this experience. Got a haircut from Oscar today. Told him I'm leaving for a big trip out of the country so he needs to be extra careful.

Top: 1.5/5 he cut my top really uneven. Did this fancy Scissor trick as he was cutting the top but could not fix the mistake after I pointed it out. Presentation/performance doesn't matter, it's always the result. He cuts really fast. Seems confident but his work is meh..

- apparently he got fired after 3 months of cutting hair for being late and inconsistent with his work

The barber (guy w/ a ball cap) who did my haircut didn't even bother checking if my hair is trimmed evenly. i sat there and in about less than 5mins it's done, yes it was done fast but in a very bad way. i didn't like my haircut. if i had known, i should've just asked my wife to cut my hair instead. On the lighter note, the front desk agent/cashier was nice.
