A Graduate of Carleton University in 1992 Rob studied abroad in Rome before receiving his Bachelor of Architecture with high distinction. He began his career as an Architect in Alberta and established Calgary based practice, Robert Pashuk Architecture, in 2001.
Rob's work has been acknowledged by the City of Calgary - having been graciously involved in the Culture + Arts scene, while engaging as a visiting guest critic at the University of Calgary from 2004-2010.In 2012 Rob expanded his scope, co-opening RPA's interior retail front 'Pomp & Circumstance'.

Designed for a growing family initially looking for a contemporary duplex on the same site - this single family home was built to highlight views to the adjacent city park. A traditional wrap around porch provides connection to the backyard as well as to a lane-way house built above the garage.

Asked by one of our favorite clients if we do small projects - we said of course, and jumped at the chance to tackle this ensuite renovation in the Marda Loop. The Client has a significant contemporary art collection and wanted to showcase some of the pieces within the room. The space was reconfigured to remove an outdated soaker tub, and provide a generous steam shower, a spacious vanity area, and create focal point locations for select art.
The mandate was to provide seventeen units on a desirable inner city property. The response to the high-profile corner lot was to provide street friendly entrances to most of the units. These contemporary stacked townhouses have an urban loft feel with distinctive features including split levels, high ceilings and expansive window areas.
Chinook Arch Regional Library Services selected RPA to help with the renovation and reconfiguration of their 1,400 m office and distribution centre in Lethbridge, Alberta. Chinook Arch provides library and IT service support for 33 libraries in 41 member municipalities across southern Alberta, on traditional Blackfoot territory.

We hired Robert & his team to design and help with our condo kitchen reno project. From start to finish, we were very pleased with his team's professionalism, creativity and timeliness. The end result is beautiful ... and came in on budget! Our kitchen is now our favourite space in the condo. We look forward to working with Robert & his team in the future when the time arrives to reno our master bathroom.
