Ashton Renovations is an NKBA award-winning kitchen and bathroom design and build firm. We bring pride and passion to each and every project we do with our team of designers, project managers, and professional tradespeople. Ashton Renovations designs and builds everything from small condo kitchens and bathrooms to full house renovations.
For over 25 years, Ashton Renovations has offered a full spectrum of residential renovation services, including kitchens, bathrooms, Toronto whole house renovations, and basement finishing. From planning & design, through all phases of construction, we provide the expertise and trades required to make your project a successful one.
We hired Ashton Renovations in the spring of 2015 to do a complete renovation of our main bathroom in our 80 year old house. We met with Mark a couple of times before work began to have him assess our needs. We relied on Mark extensively in the design of our home and also in choosing the right materials.
The bathroom is a place where you want to relax, refresh, and rejuvenate. It needs to be open and inviting with pleasant textures and colours, and should be intriguing with glass enclosures, interesting tile work, and upgraded fixtures and fittings. At the top of the list of "must haves" for most Toronto bathrooms is the thermostatic shower system.
If you have recently purchased an older home/condo, or require major upgrades where you're living right now, you may need a whole house renovation, which is extensive and involves most major elements of your home.
In these types of projects the interior finishes are removed and you start from scratch, but you may also decide to retain certain finishes, which still may be in good condition i.e. the wall surfaces, flooring, trim work, and most of the mechanical systems of the home including the electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

After working with other contractors and being frustrated by the lack of organization and communication, we found Ashton Renovations to renovate our main floor, including kitchen and living room. We chose them after speaking with Mark who provided a clear outline. We also appreciated that Ashton is a family run business and they advertise that they provide a clear and transparent process. Mark, Chris and the whole team were wonderful to work with. We worked with Mark and his team at Ashton Renovations on a total upgrade to our downtown condo. The project involved taking the walls down to the studs, raising the ceiling, adding a den and installing a stylish modern kitchen and bathroom. We started the project early in the COVID lockdown so things took longer than anticipated but Mark, Chris and the rest of the team were very professional in keeping us updated and adjusting the work plans to meet the various restrictions. I recently completed a master bathroom full renovation with Ashton Renovations and could not be happier with it! Mark, Chris and team were professional, courteous and experts in their fields. Everything was completed to the highest quality and the pride they all take in their work is evident. We worked with Ashton Renovations (Mark, Chris and their network of professionals) to renovate our 2.5 bathrooms and other miscellaneous repairs around the house. We bought our house last year and we were new to renovations (prior condo dwellers). Initially, we just wanted to renovate two outdated bathrooms, and as the renovations progressed each day, we increasingly felt our powder room (not included in the original renovation plan) was more than just an eyesore, we then asked Mark to add the powder room on the list as well. We worked with Ashton Renovations to redo our kitchen and two bathrooms, along with other projects around the house that weren’t full rooms.
