Look for a switch (like a light switch) near your furnace and make sure it is set to "on". Note: If your heat pump is regularly tripping your circuit breaker, contact us immediately as there is a larger problem. When our furnace of years stopped working we called Russ and Andrew of Bow Home Comfort who had installed our new AC unit a few years ago. They came by early the next day and diagnosed the problem, (a circuit board) and got the fan working so we would have heat. Replacing the circuit board would have cost 1/3 of the cost of a new furnace so we chose a Goodman unit and Bow Home Comfort removed the old and installed the new two days later. After receiving several estimates from several well know hvac contractors for a new furnace and a/c following the failure of my 35 year old system I came accross and contacted Bow. They were the most responsive and left me confident in their suggestions of what needed to be done. Their price was very competitive and the work executed punctually and professionally. I am the owner of Bow Home Comfort Systems and want to respond to the review from Stella. We installed her fathers furnace on Sept. 19 2019 and the first call we received was almost 5 months later on Feb. 10 2020 via a voicemail which I still have in text form. The customer said "To keep warm we have to have it on 76". I called back and suggested that the issue could be a dirty air filter and to change it and if that didn't solve the problem call me back and we'll come out and fix it under warranty which Goodman would pay us for. I did mention that for us to come out and change a filter would not
