At Options Okanagan, an important part of treatment is addressing past and present relationships with the family as a whole as well as with each individual. If you’re okay with paying $15,000 for a 30 day program with zero support from staff then this is the place for you. No one on one counselling (unless you seek it out yourself and even when you do staff is never around) no phones at all - not even to call a loved one if you’re panicking or need support. There’s no direction when you arrive, no rules they inform you of, you’re basically left to figure it out or ask because they will not guide you. When I voiced my irritations and concerns I was met with an “it is what it is” attitude. They say “there’s a method to the madness”

Before going to options , my life was so unmanageable and I was on the brink of losing my children. I have had the best experience of my life. The counselors are amazing, the support staff are also amazing, my room was beautiful , my bed was very comfortable, the fireplace on my wall created such a nice ambience, the bathrooms are really nice and spacious, the property is gorgeous , very serene and private , nice fire pit , a Scandinavia Yurt which has a fully equipped gym , a walk in cedar sauna , several cabins and a stage 2 chalet that makes you feel like your at a ski hill. Loads of parking

It is day 30 since my wife went to treatment. We are due to pick her up today. Our experience with Options has felt like we have no options. Obviously we hope the mother of our family is improved and I will change my review at a later date if I feel it is justified. We haven't received any communication at all about the process, timeline, or anything else. Today we are due to pick her up. 4 kids etc. But they don't asnwer the phone and we don't know at what time we can pick her up. Our family felt abandoned, isolated, confused, hurt, and thrown away during the entire 30 days she was away. My kids

Hello , I just wanted to write a quick note and say thank you from the bottom of my heart. Going to Options has changed my life , cleared my head and heart and helped me lead a beautiful sober honest life today. The staff is kind, understanding, loving, patient and willing to do anything they can to help you. I had my ups and downs and I always had help and someone to talk to at all time. Everyone knows what I was going trough and they knew exactly what to do and say to help me get better. I spent one month full time and extended to do the day program for another month. Just before I came to Options Okanagan I had just survived an overdose death and being brought back to Life a person may think that would be a wake up call but I was still in the frame of mind that I could manage my addiction on my own. The kindness, patience and encouragement of staff convinced me to just trust them that things will get better. So I stayed. this was the best decision of my life. I was broken, "A shell of a person" as my mom had said. No self esteem, no goals, void of spirituality, depression, anxiety. Just lost. Late last year i checked myself in. The staff were professional and caring. They are set up for what comes in their doors. Everything from a certified nurse, two long sobriety Councillors and 5 star chefs. Privacy is great. each room has its own bathroom and shower. The beds are comfortable. The place is clean. The staff is excellent. The food is unbelievable and unforgettable. I would highly recommend this facility if you have really reached your bottom and strongly advice a full 90 day program. I am currently 10 months sober and living a great sober life. Still working the program, attending

Y'all are disgusting , and are just money grabbers. A good family member of mine wanted to come here but you guys shut her away because she didn't have enough money at the time . If you really cared about people and wanted to help , you would have worked something out with her REGARDLESS of her financial situation. You guys are sick.

The staff at Options Okanagan showed me a new way to live. I went to other treatment centres, but Options is different. It's smaller and more intimate and this allows for more opportunity to connect and begin to establish a new life. I didn't think I would ever be able to overcome my addictions, I was wrong. With the help of Options' staff, I got my family and my life back and more than I dreamed possible.
