Came here for the first time and had a good time! The ambiance was not as upscale and trendy as I had expected, to be honest. Rather, the restaurant has a warm and welcoming diner feel, with stunning, floor-to-ceiling waterfront views of the harbour and mountains. The service was great! From the hostess to our server—everyone was really friendly, smiley, and efficient, which made our experience that much more enjoyable. We ordered the Coal Harbour Breakfast, the Crab Cake Benny, and the Bakery Basket. Everything was super fresh, well-seasoned, and very tasty! Would definitely come back again

Well this was the first time I ever had something to eat hear.
We could have picked a better evening but it was our 20th anniversary November 11th.
The wind and hard rain stopped after about a 1/2 hour and we were on the top floor which is enclosed at winter with a very nice roof and clear plastic . The top floor also has many heaters and cool lighting with a large fire table at one end.
The restaurant has been in this same location for 17 years just west of the bayshore inn and lots of underground free parking several hundred feet before the entrance to the restaurant.
The staff were super

We went to Lift for happy hour. Service and view/location were great. Happy hour wines - great value! Fries - excellent! However, a bit concerned with the rest of the food we ordered.
1) mussels (not part of happy hour menu) - we had to send it back initially given it was cold (neither sauce nor mussels were warm). Server was great and had kitchen redo. 2nd round - much warmer however, 80% of the mussels were tough/hard (see photo - that was most of the mussels when opened). Felt like most were heated from frozen.
2) oysters (local west coast part of happy hour menu) - they were supposed to be

The location is dazzling and interior intimate. The food was well presented but more than that, my wife ordered a dish she didn't like, she very politely told our wonderful waitress who took it in stride, offered alternatives and then later credited the dish on our bill. This is something to really note, service like this doesn't happen often anymore and it was GREATLY appreciated. My wife was so impressed with our waitress, as we left she took aside the manager and was sure to express how well we were treated. Go for the view, enjoy the food and return for the service.

Great ambience and layout. Food is delicious but pricey. We had made prior reservations and requested a table with ocean views.
Did not disappoint both in views, in food ( do order desserts, they are yummy) and drinks (Pro tip:It helps to be drunk when the bill arrives, takes away the edge 😁). Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure ...

We came here on our vacation and it was SO good we decided to come back the next day too. Favorite place we ate at our whole trip. No pictures because the food disappeared quickly. We tried the seafood linguine, the fish and chips, the spicy tuna roll, and the chicken over our two nights there. Absolutely delicious! And beautiful views and dedicated waitstaff to go with it. Highly recommended.

Not a bad restaurant, but I will not be back because there are better places to dine out in Vancouver. Also because they have taken the short ribs off the menu. Service is a little slow, and prices are on the high side.
Short ribs (5/5)
Amazing ! Extremely flavourful dish, and I could not get enough of it. A must try !
Salmon (3/5)
The salmon was a little overcooked and the flavours of this entire dish was rather bland.

This place gets a 5/5 for me, seriously. I was very happy with my dinner there.
My girlfriend and I came in on a random Sunday night. It was too bad but they had already closed the patio by the time we arrived. So we were seated in a section all by ourselves, which made me laugh because it looked like we were the only ones there. Decor is on the dark and warm side. There are some fireplaces which make the area very cozy.
Our server Thomas took great care of us. He was personable, warm, and friendly which made a huge difference. I think the service alone made it a great experience.

I was in town visiting a family member about 12 days ago and was recommended this restaurant for a quick bite, good drinks and great views. We went as a group of 4 around 3 PM.
Parking: From what I understand it is valet only and it is AWFUL. My family and I parked our car and was told by valet that they would have to move it for us because customers weren't allowed to park in front of the restaurant. By the end of our meal, our car was never moved and we ended up paying the man for literally doing nothing! I was very dissatisfied with their services and feel almost as if I had been ripped

We had half and hour before our boarding time for the Habour Cruise, so found the closest bar to grab a drink or three. Since we were in a rush, we grabbed a seat at the bar and decided to order two shots of tequila ($8 CAD each) and a drink each right away. I had the Lychee Island ($12 CAD) and he had the Mango Fresh ($13 CAD).
Both of the drinks were very tasty, I must admit. Unfortunately, their slow service ruined it all for me, especially because we were in a rush. I found their drinks to be rather pricey compared to all the other spots in Vancouver as well; but I guess people are paying
