The firm of Glen Mitchell Land Surveying has served lower Vancouver Island and the Gulf Islands since 1986. Glen was born in British Columbia, has a family of 3 lovely daughters and and wonderful wife. Glen is very proud of his aboriginal heritage. The firm has completed over 8000 projects for diverse clients such as; Shell Oil, Catholic Church, Commonwealth Games Society, legal firms and thousands of private land owners.
The firm has continually followed the technology revolution. In 1986 a steel tape and a calculator were used. Today you will find us measuring with a robotic total station & precision GPS recievers. Our office uses computer assisted drafting programs to ensure the products can be delivered in paper or digital formats.

Glen and his team are excellent, and my wife and I could not be happier with the service that we received on a survey that was done for us. Glen is patient, kind, respectful and conscientious, and he knows his business well. He is also a very personable and a fun person to be around, and we found that his pleasant demeanour and confidence immediately put us at ease, and alleviated any concern that we had about getting a survey done for a project that we are working on. If we ever need another survey done, there is no question that we will use Glen again, and we would highly recommend his service

I have used Glen and his staff for over 20 years. They have done numerous surveys for me, from Oak Bay to Cobble Hill. Some were straightforward city lot plans; some were extensive uncharted rural properties. In all cases everyone involved was pleasant and reliable. Regarding the other comment, there have been two times in my association when I did not hear from Glen in a timply manner. In both cases (some 15 years apart) Glen had serious and sudden heslth problems and called me as soon as he was able, to explain.
