Dr. Rana has been practicing General Dentistry since 1987. He graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, School of Dental Medicine in 1987 and immediately opened a practice in Toronto. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the ON Dental Association and is a Master in the Academy of General Dentistry, an accomplishment that is held by less than 2,000 dentists nationwide.

I have not been back to this dental office in many years, I am speaking on an experience that happened many years ago.
I use to be a loyal customer to this dental office. I also had dental insurance as well. Near the end towards the expiration of my insurance I booked a final dental cleaning where I was advised that I needed two fillings done. During my filing appointment with Dr.Rana, he advised me that I had two additional cavities that he would complete within the same 1 hour appointment (Please keep in mind it is hard to decline or speak while the dentist has your mouth open during drilling

Dr. Rana and the staff at EYDC are top notch, they have been my primary dentist for the last year or so and they manage to make every visit comfortable. Aside from regular cleanings, I have also had to make a last minute visit for jaw pain, and I was very pleased that they were able to make time for me, to examine the issue, answer my questions and provide the solution.
Dr. Rana does excellent work that exceeds my expectations every time I visit, and always has lively conversation to go along with it.
I highly recommend giving them a call for any dental needs.

Dr Rana is one of the best dentists available. The staff are most welcoming. I was sent there by a friend. I've had many tooth problems over the years and no dentist has gone out of their way to make me feel comfortable and satisfied with the work the way dr rana has. I recommend him to everyone. I came all the way from Pickering to see him. Truly excellent service. Everything was more than satisfactory.

STAY AWAY!
I paid $500 to this dental office as apparently my insurance wasn’t going through. So, I did, and was under the guidance of the front desk girl, that I would receive this money back once my insurance paid my balance.
To my dismay, this did not happen. In fact, after reaching out to my insurance provider I discovered that the claims were bring made with an incorrect birthdate, meaning the only reason they were denying my claim was because the information didn’t match my records. Once this mistake was pointed out, instead of returning the balance, the dentist chose to instead take

Dr. Rana and his staff do an exceptional job at East York Dental Centre. Dr. Rana’s wonderful bedside manner (by which I mean to say he’s hilarious and kind!) and his expert technique make getting dental work a breeze. Not only that, but Dr. Rana has gone above and beyond numerous times to ensure I get quality dental care even though I do not have insurance. I would recommend Dr. Rana and his wonderful team to everyone I know with utmost confidence. If you visit his practice, you will definitely feel taken care of. Thanks Dr. Rana and team!
