We offer alternatives to hormonal birth control - state-of-the-art products, designed with women for women, effective, natural contraception and sexual health products. I am a Certified Natural Health Practitioner offering Health Canada and FDA approved sexual health tools to women, men, trans and non-binary people.
Please tell us if you will be picking up in Toronto or if you want your order shipped. If the actual cost will be greater than the total shipping you have paid I will contact you for approval. NOTE: Our nearest competitor charges 2-3 times more in US Dollars for filters, taps and floats! Our prices are still the lowest in North America!

Annares is a wonderful place full of unique treasures. There is a strong focus on ethical sourcing and ample information is available about products. I greatly appreciate the observance of Covid risk reduction measures and feel safe and relaxed when shopping here. I am so pleased to have this excellent business in my community.

Anarres consistently comes through with a broad range of reasonably priced herbs, supplies for homemade cosmetics, and bulk fragrance-free soap and detergents. The staff are knowledgeable and helpful, if sometimes a little grumpy. I'd say this shop isn't for everyone, but with a little patience and an open mind doing business here can be a curious and satisfying experience. I'm really glad it continues to exist!

I went to this apothecary twice. The first time was unpleasant as the owner was dismissive. I gave it another chance and came back. After already being in the store for 15+ minutes the employees told me and my sister that they had a 10 minute limit on the shopping. Upon telling us this they stood behind us in the store making us feel very rushed and uncomfortable. My sister asked about the ingredients in one of their essential oil blends. The owner then said it's a blend of magical oils. As an apothecary, I would expect the employees to know their products or list the ingredients. The store was

I've shopped at Anarres for over 5+ years but my last visit was less than satisfactory. We waited outside until we got the 'green' light, fine. But as we walked in we were not only rushed but were told we only had 10 min to do all of our shopping. On top of this there was hardly anyone who approached to help us. Maybe if someone helped us we could have been out of there in time. As we're told to basically 'hurry up' whoever was at the cashier was busy having small talk with another customer. My spouse was told her face shield was not adequate and she had to wear a mask instead. I felt so rush I

Anarres Apothecary (and the Hermit's Lamp associated) is a wonderful store with great inventory and customer service. Their commitment to public health during the pandemic has been highly admirable, especially considering that so many "spiritual" people have disregarded safety measures and helped to spread the virus.

I love the Store !!! Great products!!! Many years I ordered essential oils ,100% natural and prices much lower than other places. I also buy lotion for my face, which is great and saving my life! After that one I can not use anything. It is moisturizing and healing your skin from the first use. It calls Raindance Daily lotion ,and it smells roses. I love it!!! Thank You, Tracy!!!

I love the shop and the products. The creams are keeping me younger looking, the magnesium is keeping my legs from cramping and also relieves some of the pain, and the soap shampoo keeps my hair clean and shiny.
I also get my sea salt there and various herbs and essential oils. The selection is great and the staff is knowledgeable.
Keep up the good work. I wholeheartedly recommend Anarres Apothecary.

A truly remarkable store. I practice Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and I love and recommend this store to everyone who wants to get natural supplies to make things like clean personal care products. The owner and the employees have real knowledge of natural products and can help you pick the right items. This store is a DIY heaven. You can be sure of the quality and many products are ethical, fair-trade or organic. Altogether a lovely experience shopping at Anarres. Environmentally sustainable choices, you can bring your own containers for bulk items.

I have visited 3 times now have purchased numerous oils, bottles, PPE, gemstones, and other natural products. Jess has been so patient and helpful with me every time I have gone in. She gives me great tips advice and answers all my questions honestly and to the best of her knowledge. I have met the owner Tracey on on visit and she was also very helpful and also answered my questions. My shopping experiences here during Covid made me feel very safe and comfortable and I will continue to support them. I have wanted a Stefani water filter for a long time, and finally decided to purchase. I spoke with Tracey on the phone and she was super helpful, and answered all my questions.
