Valley Carriers is a multi-generational, family owned log hauling, trucking, and specialty transportation company with hubs based in Merritt and Abbotsford, British Columbia, and operations reaching into Alberta and Washington. We haul wood residuals, soil, bark mulch, logs, grain, mushroom manure, and more.
We are currently looking for Class 1 Drivers for our Merritt location. This position is Monday to Friday, afternoon shift starting approx. 3pm. The Position: This position is based out of Merritt, BC hauling wood residuals throughout the Interior and into Washington state. Our ideal candidate is someone that matches the skill set listed below.

We've been dealing with Valley Carriers for nearly 38 years, ever since I started farming!
We have been in business since 1963, so we are pretty skilled at transporting bulk wood residuals. Whether we are recommending a product or planning out logistics, we have got the experience to get the job done right the first time. Many of the members of our management team have been promoted from within the organization, originally starting as drivers or mechanics, so they are not afraid to jump in and get their hands dirty.

Since 1963, we have worked to recycle residuals from forestry, reusing materials in agricultural and industrial applications.

Great service. Great product. Pick up or deliver (larger quantities). I've found they always have what I'm looking for (soil, mulch, gravel, drain rock, playground sand).

Today a load of mulch was delivered to my property, Hanna Estates. The driver, Steve, had to back his dump truck over the city curd, and drop the mulch between the landscaping & hedges. Steve did this perfectly without causing any damage to the lawn.

Friendly careful service. Fair prices. A helpful website that transparently shows pricing and includes a calculator for determining how much soil or rock you need. (not open Sundays)
