Quyen is a leading hairstylist, an entrepreneur, and the owner of Canvas Hair and Nail Salon. With more than 20 years of experience, Quyen was professionally trained at Bumble & Bumble Academy in New York where she got a deeper understanding of hair, aesthetics, and beauty.

I came in to get a manicure while my mom and cousin received pedicures. It was such a great experience and the owner had the sweetest dog that my cousin got to cuddle during our visit. I love the way my nails turned out, the manicurist shaped them so perfectly!! I would definitely recommend this business!

I just want to disclaim that I'm leaving this review as someone who goes to a hair salon every two years or so and dreads it each time .
My appointment was at 10am this past Sunday, after having put off getting a haircut for an embarrassing amount of time until it had reached an unmanageable mid waist-length. The idea was simply to relieve some weight off my scalp but Quyen listened to my vague instructions and somehow gave me that rare mid-neck bob cut that doesn't flip away from the face all weird after a shower.

I got my first professional haircut/style at Canvas since 2020 and I was blown away by the amazing skills of the Canvas team. Best haircut I've ever received! Quyen is incredible professional and talented - she managed to create texture and layers and fabulous bangs out of my usually flat and straight hair. My friends were all asking where I got it done when I sent them photos. The whole experience was restful, seamless, and delightful. I booked my appointment the night before and they got back to me early the next morning to confirm. Trust Quyen with your hair and you will not be disappointed

Amazing salon! I finally decided to go in for a haircut and give them a try a little while ago, and I can safely say I am not going anywhere else! Quyen did such an amazing job with my hair, and I am obsessed with the shape and layering. My hair not only looked great right after the appointment, but I can also say it grew out so perfectly and still looks amazing a few months after my first appointment.

Canvas hair salon is somewhere I just chose to go to recently. Quyn is not only an amazing, talented and kind professional but is also very knowledgeable on what hair color/styles would look good on a specific person. She styled, colored and cut my mom's hair and we were both very very happy with the results. She takes care of every detail and never rushes to finish her procedures. Not to mention their customer service in general, Quyn is very humorous, outgoing and always has a bright smile that makes newcomers feel very relaxed and welcomed. This is a true local gem in Kits. The salon just reopened with a fresh clean look. I took my cousin and her bridal party there for pedicures and manicures and we all loved it. I've been there before for hair colouring services previously and was happy with the results as well.
Quyen and her staff are both friendly and professional. All COVID precautions were followed and nail instruments were sealed in plastic for single person use. They also have an adorable salon mascot!
I definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for hair or nail services.
