The stars aligned and Murray and he found himself working in the outboard business.

He began his apprenticeship at Lords Marine (5344 Victory Drive, Vancouver, BC). Not long after that he married Audrey (the owners daughter) and together they incorporated Lordship Marine (same location). The company became a way of life for the Iseli's where all family members (including daughters) were involved in day to day operations of the business.
Services
Lordship Marine has been specializing in Evinrude and Johnson sales and service for over 60 years! Unlike numerous marine supply organizations in this sector, we focus solely on a single supplier. Bombardier Recreational Products (Owners of Evinrude and Johnson ). This dedication has allowed us to focus all of our attentions on being the very best at what we do.

We picked up a new boat and Evinrude motor out of dealership in Campbell River in October 2020. We run it daily to commute to and from our island home and after a few months of daily use we started having issues with it starting all of a sudden. As we do not have a trailer or the ability to get it back up to Campbell River for warranty service, we reached out to Lordship to see if they could help us out. David was willing to come to Horseshoe Bay and pick the boat up on his own trailer for us and bring it into the shop for repairs.
Turns out our issue was one of those weird electrical ones that

Well, I've been boating for over 40 years. I had a seastar steering system that ties my main motor to my kicker put on by lordship at a cost of $600. The system lasted for a mere 8 months before complete failure. I sent pictures to seastar's technical expert who is based in richmond and handles seastar issues worldwide. He knew immediately from the pictures that the telescoping system had been installed incorrectly. I then took it out to the seastar rep's recomended shop (in langley) and they confirmed the same problem. It was virtually immediately as he looked at the twisted carnage of stainless

Anything you need for your boat's motor and hookups to gas you'll find here, among other things. They've been maintaining our 15 horse outboard motor for years. We had them rebuild it after it was underwater years ago. We highly recommend them. They do excellent work. Their new location in Delta is much bigger than their old shop in Vancouver. Google maps got us there without a hitch.

These people know customer service.
I lost steering on my ETEC 250 HO right in the middle of our great fishing season. I called in really expecting to hear we can bring you in 2 to 3 weeks from now but they got me in within a few days. They diagnosed my issue which was nothing to do with my ETEC and were extremely fair when it came to charges for their service.
I have an another Evinrude dealer within a few km of my home, one stop there previously and they charged me $20 more for a case of XD100.
I will drive and tow my 23’ boat 45 min through traffic to get this kind of great service and

Dave and the guys are top class. I have two boats powered by them! Their service and follow up is beyond reproach. I love my Evenrudes and any servicing or help I need is handled promptly and professionally. including one stupid call by me to their cell on a Sunday when I ran out of the correct 2-stroke oile for the G2's...class operation!

Here's a little bit of history of my outboard motor. It is in storage for several years at a time, and every time I take her out to the open waters, she is very exceptional, in performance. She starts every time, and she runs perfectly....a few years ago, (Oct, 2013), I had work done on my outboard. (before any work was done, my outboard was running perfectly fine). I hired lordship marine, to put brand new cables on the steering wheel, and remote starter/throttle, also, I had them service the engine. At the time, I didn't think of giving her a test run, before putting her back in storage? A lot

Had starting issues with my 50/35 jet.outboard. Was heading to the Bulkley so I didn't want any issues while up there.
I had a few friends recommend Lordship Marine.
Dave was very helpful and booked me in. Doug called me back and went over the diagnosis. Happy with the service and professionalism. Just earned themselves a return customer!!!

I have been a customer of Lordship marine for 20 years. I have bought engines from them, lots of parts/supplies, and had service work done. They have old-fashioned, honest customer service. The lead mechanic (Doug) is the best Johnson/Evinrude mechanic in Western Canada (including on the newer ETEC engines). Lordship stocks a lot more parts than most other dealers and gets them in fast if they aren't in stock. You can't go wrong dealing with these folks. They can get very busy in the summer so you do need to have a little patience since there is a limited number of staff. Their new facility in

This is on of the few shops who know the facts .
I decided to repower my boat with a new outboard. So I went the to boats how in Vancouver- I was more the disappointed about all of the outboard dealers until I luckily met David from Lordship he was the ONLY One who seemed to have knowledge about what he sells and services. Everyone else tells just stories but in fact have no idea about outboards don't talk about th characteristics between a 2 and 4 stroke.
Anyway I decided to go and meet David and his staff after the show and had more conversations about my project. I got a 1982 mint clastron
