Talvan Machine Shop

Recently, I experienced the breakdown of a specialty piece of equipment which, in turn, was the result of the structural failure of a single component.
The equipment was dated, and after an hour on-line search, it became apparent that I would likely have to have the failed piece custom fabricated - if I wished to keep the unit operating.
After measuring and photographing the equipment, and having the failed part in hand, I visited four independent machine shops in my area over the better part of the following day. Each shop in turn, quoted me costs all well beyond that which I considered reasonable

Back in a day of ressesion used to work under gvnmt funding program until that program run out of time and so my employment. Coworkers were good people to work with but cannot say the same for a small size machine shop management.

Have been able to help me with my 2 oddball requests, so far. Super happy. Great turnaround. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Only place im going from now on. Highly recommended.
