Services
Westside Audiology was opened in 2012 by Dr. Lesley Lussier and Dr. Margaret Korble, Doctors of Audiology, with the goal of providing exceptional patient centered hearing healthcare. Doctors Lussier and Korble studied Audiology together at the University of Western Ontario, both graduating with their Masters of Clinical Science in Audiology in 1998.
I have trouble understanding conversations when there's background noise, for example, at a restaurant or in a busy workplace. It's estimated that 3 million Canadians suffer from hearing loss, including one in six baby boomers. Noise, diabetes or other factors can cause hearing loss. But most often it's simply a result of getting older.
Do you work around machines, vehicles, or crowds of people? What may seem like a normal amount of noise to you could actually be causing irreversible damage and contributing to hearing loss. For example, without proper ear protection, running a chain saw for only two minutes can be dangerous for your hearing.
Over the last few decades, major advances have helped us better understand the nature of hearing loss. Still, there's a lot of misinformation out there. Hearing loss is often so gradual that you may not notice it at first. As your hearing loss increases, you may compensate by turning up the volume or asking people to repeat themselves.
Tinnitus (tin-NY-tus) is the perception of ringing, hissing or roaring in your ears. At a minimum, the ringing in your ears is annoying and can drown out everyday sounds. When it persists, tinnitus can make it difficult to concentrate or sleep soundly and may lead to fatigue, irritability and stress.

This was my first visit to Westside Audiology and i must say the experience was exceptional. From the polite reception to my meeting with the audiologist (Karen) was nothing but welcoming.
Karen was thorough with the examination and explained the results in a manner that i could understand. I would recommend Westside Audiology to anyone looking for an audiologist. You won't be dissapointed.

Outstanding service from the moment you enter! Lesley's warm, compassionate and patient approach made my 97 year old mother feel totally comfortable.. She said she's never had such comprehensive testing done before. Everything was explained clearly and her resistance, fears and issues (caused by previous experiences) were addressed and resolved. I'm fully confident that Lesley will help and encourage her to use the new hearing aids effectively in the future and that they will change her life! Thank you Lesley, and thank you Karen (?) for sorting out the financial side of things so efficiently.

I decided to come here as the location is convenient. But I will come back due the service I've received. I was completely satisfied as I got a full through hearing test, and enough time to assess my condition. I also got my hearing aid tested, and updated. But the best part was that my hearing aid got adjusted to my needs and now I can really hear. I was not wearing my hearing aids because they were not adjusted to my needs before and I was getting frustrated. So happy I can hear my loved ones and my TV now. Very grateful and I will be back. Best treatment ever that I didn't receive before.

I took my dad here to understand more about his hearing loss and what was available to him for hearing aids. They were efficient, kind and knowledgeable. Never pushy or salesy. It felt like a nice, safe environment to learn and understand so we could make a decision on what device was best for his needs. i recommend them!

I chose Westside Audiology due to the high rating from other users, and I definitely made the right choice. Excellent, caring service, and since we are still in the middle of Covid, every precaution was taken. The doctor recommended hearing aids, but there was no pressure to purchase. I decided to follow her advice, and am really looking forward to hearing well again!
