Services
Rob's Tree Removal specializes in the removal of problematic trees, stumps, surface roots, and bushes in your backyard. We provide quick and effective services to ensure the tree no longer causes problems in your yard. You can get a free estimate of our services through our online calculator. We do answer all inquiries, and we will be glad to help you price your job or answer any questions you might have.
The tree is then processed per the customer's wishes, usually involving chipping and removing the branches from the site, bucking and piling the firewood, and thoroughly cleaning up the jobsite so that one scarcely knows a tree was even there, but for the stump and firewood, if so desired. A job usually is completed within a day, sometimes 2 if the tree is extra large.
It's not enough to cut down problematic trees in your yard. When left alone, their trunk will slowly decay and gradually become a home for termites and other pests. It can also be a tripping hazard for your family and guests. Prevent pest infestation and physical injuries by removing the stump completely.
To calculate the price for your brush piles, you can plug the measurements of your own piles into the appropriate boxes on the Quick calculator page. We can chip up to 6 diameter logs. Bigger piles are priced in direct proportion (regarding volume) to this price for this size of pile. Although we are closed for work for the Winter, we still welcome any inquiries or requests to book for the Spring rush.
All mulch is for delivery only - we do not have a staging area, so no mulch can be picked up. Our Wood Mulch is actually a product of tree removal, containing parts from the whole tree, including everything from stump grinding mulch to chipped leaves, needles, and branches resulting in chips 1"- 5" long.

I did an online qoute for two trees to be removed. They arrived the next day to do the job and they actually reduced the price because I hadn't measured accurately.
Very professional and job done quickly and even cleaned up everything after they had finished.

I had a Swedish Aspen that wasn't doing so well and I started to remove it myself and when I got up the ladder and realized this may not go so well, I knew I needed to call an expert. Rob's tree service was the first company that appeared in my Google search and I emailed him with my details and he got back me to that evening with a rough estimate and booked me in with a wait time of about seven days. I am not one who lightly writes reviews of people or businesses I have had dealings with - only when the work was exceptionally good... or exceptionally poor. I recently contacted Rob at Rob's Tree Removal in Calgary to get a quote (simple on line calculator - www.robstreeremoval.com) His quote was far less than any of his competitors I had canvassed. Though this should have been a red flag, I took the chance with him given all the good reviews I read about him on various websites. I needed one tall tree removed in my back yard. We had Rob's Tree Removal take out a tree that had originally been planted too close to our house. I sent in photos of the tree via email and described the access conditions, etc. I promptly received a fairly tight quote range, with the final cost being dependent upon an actual onsite inspection. We agreed to proceed on a given date (weather permitting) and Rob and assistant arrived, took the tree down and took out the stump to below grade.
