1. Make packing for storage easier on yourself by planning ahead. Start by listing all the items you're going to store and their sizes. Also, gather up plenty of sturdy, corrugated cartons, packing paper, bubble wrap, sealing tape and marker pens, along with any furniture covers or shelving you intend to use in your storage unit.
Storing a car is not just a matter of park, lock and leave. Nasty problems can develop deep in the innards of a beloved vehicle if you ignore preventive measures. Careful prestorage preparation will keep any car happy during its hiatus. 1. Change the oil and filter. If the car is being stored for an extended period of time, measured in years, talk to a mechanic about using oils without additives, which may include slightly caustic detergents.
Do you provide locks? Do you keep a key to my room? You can provide your own lock, or you can purchase one from us at the facility. We do not keep a key to your room - you have the only key, and you are the only person who can access your space. How do I access my room? Accessing your stored goods is a cinch.

This storage unit is a bit outdated not so nice to look at. The storage room door that I have on my unit leaves a big open gap so rodents or water and snow would be able to get into the storage unit the holes on my door need to be fixed so they line up with the other one and then the door would be fine. They have good security there is a person who lives on site they are open until 8 pm most days.
