My first experience in dealing with online auctions after 25 years of dealing directly with galleries. Easy to sign up and navigate.Very professional in communication. Acquired the piece that I wanted. Pick-up, packing and shipping referral business was excellent, which was a major concern of mine. From auction to receipt of item (in perfect condition), 3 provinces away, just over a week. Could not have asked for a better first interaction.

Regarding selling fine art in Calgary, Hodgins Art Auctions is a very professional and astute organization. Kyra Lanis was extremely helpful in advising best timing for optimizing price potential and the company was able to store pieces safely and securely on site prior to auction. Of particular note was the May 2021 sale of a painting at over double the initial 2020 estimate which had been similarly verified by three different appraisers. Commissions are also very fair. This team really knows their industry and I definitely recommend their services.

I’ve attended Hodgins auctions both in person and on line. I have bought and sold art with them. I have to say the quality of art is very high, and the selection is incredible.
There are always some interesting items available.
I am impressed with the professionalism of the owners and the staff and their attention to detail I am also very pleased with their client service and the efficiency of buying and or selling with them. Pleasure dealing with them.

Hodgins Art Auctions is incredible. I inquired about consigning a painting one morning, it was picked up in the afternoon and sold at auction 3 weeks later for a price I was real happy with; and I was paid 10 days later. They are responsive, patient and a pleasure to deal with. Wouldn’t hesitate to refer them.

We live in the US, in Chicago, and were referred to Hodgins Art Auctions when we began to downsize and wanted to sell some of our Inuit sculptures.
