This is a one stop shop for rum cakes and other custom decorated cakes. Conceived from passion and a love affair with baking, which has been passed down from my Grandma, Miss. G. in Jamaica, who would sit and hand mix the most incredible rum cake. Doobie Cakes takes great pride in offering high quality, natural ingredients with premium Jamaican liquors to create a delicious dessert to be served at any holiday or occasion.

Pricing for rum cake starts at $30. We don't just stop with traditional rum cakes. Eggless rum cake, carrot, banana cake and other flavours are also offered. We are a home-based bakery that sells cakes and serves customers in the Greater Toronto Area from homesite in Mississauga, Ontario. Check out other custom decorated Doobie Cakes and wedding cakes.
Services
Our rum cakes have mixed dried fruits and raisins and are aged in Jamaican liquors using a traditional family recipe. The well-blended deluxe fruit mixed is combined with a rich mixture of high quality eggs, unsalted butter, unbleached flour, brown sugar, molasses, pure vanilla extract, aluminum-free baking powder and fresh ground spices.
Located in Mississauga (Malton), we offer custom cakes and cupcakes for your next wedding, birthday, holiday and special event. We always try to accommodate short notices.* Free delivery in the Malton/Humberwood Area. No flavour added buttercream also available. Novelty Cakes pricing depends on the complexity, colour, cake servings, type of structure, materials required and the design.
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to reserve your order date. The FULL balance is due one (1) week prior to pick up/delivery (2 weeks for wedding tiered cakes). Orders placed in less than one (1) week's notice require payment in FULL at the time of ordering (if date available).

Payments can be made in-person, online from PayPal.com using a debit visa/credit card or an email money transfer (Interac) from your Canadian financial institution.
Doobie is the nickname of me, Racquel, known to close family and friends. My mother gave me the nickname when I was an infant and it stuck like glue due in part because I liked watching the cartoon, Scooby-Dooby Doo. A name that I've been trying to avoid for the most part of my life, my father says to me one day, "why don't you call your cake business, Doobie?"
Grated cheddar cheese or "Jamaican cheese" (Tastee Cheese sold in West Indian or Asian supermarkets). Doobie is the nickname of me, Racquel Bartley. My mother gave me the nickname when I was an infant and it stuck like glue due in part because I liked watching the cartoon, Scooby-Dooby Doo. There are requests for this type of icing because its traditional or it reminds someone of the way how their grandmother did her cake.
