In 1976, Wynn Machine & Mfg was a small, one-man machine shop. Now, over 35 years later, Wynn has grown into a full-service, 30,000 sqft machine shop with over 25 employees. Ernest Chissell's career as a machinist began in England, where he learned from an early age, the importance of craftsmanship and quality.
Wynn Machine is a jobbing shop that can produce custom products, run one-offs and/or full production lines. We take pride in our quality, and quick turnarounds. Our machines have the capability to turn up to 32 diameters. We have several modern hollow spindle lathes to machine tubular products. We also have the ability to permanently mark parts for ease of identification, and traceability.
Wynn Machine carries seamless tubing pup joints in grades J55 and L80, and can supply other grades of pups upon request. Standard lengths range from 2ft to 10ft oal and sizes are from 2-3/8" EUE to 3-1/2" EUE. All pup joints are manufactured in the United States, and are color coded & stenciled to meet strict API-5CT specifications.
Wynn Machine stocks a wide variety of accessories, including tubing and casing nipples, crossovers, swages, couplings, bull plugs and belled nipples, and also manufactures according to customers specific requirements. I had a very similar experience to John B. I had a small job to do for a motorcycle build I was working on. Paul room the job on and finished it quickly so I could get the bike finished and on the road. Paul was super friendly and the precision was dead on specifications. This is more of an customer service review since my problem was a complicated-for-me, but trivial-for-Wynn type job.
I needed a stuck-screw drilled out for what was supposed to be an easy pilot assembly replacement for my hot water heater. They obviously don't do this kind of thing as they primarily deal with industrial applications. Regardless, Paul said to bring it in and they'll take a look.
They had it fixed in no time at all and didn't even charge me!
So, coffee's on me, and thank you so much guys. I greatly appreciate your help!
