Our Toronto Separation Lawyers at Separy Law PC can assist you with your separation needs. In Ontario, "Separation" is the result of a breakdown in a relationship between two individuals who are in a romantic relationship with each other, and there is no chance for reconciliation. This generally occurs when the couples decide that the romantic relationship has come to an end and stop living with one another.
If you are currently married and wish to re-marry, you will need to obtain a divorce first. In order to obtain a divorce, you must apply to the family court for divorce. Not all courts will accept your applications for divorce. You must specifically apply to the Superior Court of Justice with an application for divorce.
After separation, and once it is decided with which parent a child or children in a family will primarily reside with, the issue of child support arises. Child support is based on the Federal Child Support Guidelines and is based on the child's right to be supported, although the moneys are provided to a parent whom has the child in their primary care.

Solmaz and team have done a fantastic job at taking the appropriate COVID-19 precautions with their clients in office including screening and providing comprehensive PPE to create a safe and welcoming environment for clients. Separy team is amazing! No nonsense, no false promises, no waisted time, tells you like it is, 100% client commitment, always open to communication. Always polite, punctual and on top of their game. Mr Jaffer despite being young professional is quite talented lawyer. He sees what is important for a client and fights for it until it gets done. Ms Separy might come off little harsh at times, but again that is what makes her so great in that court room: no nonsense, no waisted time and no sugar coating. This was the first time I ever used a service like this and Separy Law made it really simple. The staff was always friendly when I called. Adam Jaffer was my lawyer and his service was/is outstanding. He informed me of everything he was going to do and responded to my emails and questions almost immediately and professionally.
