Dr. Steve Tschach has been practicing family dentistry at this location in Langley, BC for the last fifteen years, and he and his staff have many combined years of experience.

Services
Dr Tschach's greatest asset is the team that works with him every day. On phoning or entering our offices, you will be greeted by, and well taken care of, by Jan, Deanna or Dana. If you are visiting for a check up and/or cleaning, you will be seeing Roberta or Amorelle. Should you be needing something more, Dr. Steve is assisted by Danya.
Dr. Steve Tschach works with our patients to develop a treatment plan that suits the individual, whether that may be routine preventative care or extensive rehabilitation. We are here to help you achieve and maintain a healthy and vibrant smile! Each new patient begins with a thorough comprehensive exam with one our dentists.
Dr. Tschach grew up in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, spent five years studying at the University of Victoria completing a B.Sc. in BioChemistry and then completed his dental degree at UBC in 1994. He spent time practicing dentistry in Campbell River, Grand Forks, Abbotsford and in 2001 acquired his own practice here in Walnut Grove.
Roberta has been working in the dental profession for 22 years. Upon graduating high school Roberta initially enrolled in a dental assistant program at a local college. After graduation, Roberta worked in this capacity for a year before her desire for professional growth motivated her to pursue a career in dental hygiene.
Danya was born in Richmond BC. She moved at the age of 5 to Ladner BC, then to Langley at the age of 11 where she has continued to live in Walnut Grove for the past 23 years. She attended Gordon Greenwood Elementary school and Walnut Grove Secondary. After completing her dental assisting certification, she joined Dr. Tschach and team in 2006.

As stated below, the receptionist is extremely unprofessional, rude, and belittling. I went in for my routine cleaning and had to walk out due to how little she made me feel. Apparently my insurance papers were never received by my insurance provider. According to the receptionist, the courier lost it. She then proceeded to explain to me what mail is, where and how mail is placed to be mailed out and claimed that it’s not her responsibility if the courier loses the mail.
I asked her to please stop speaking to me in such a demeaning tone. She proceeded to belittle me. She responded to me by saying

I used to live in Walnut Grove and was a patient of the former dentist that Dr. Tschach took over the practice from. Upon moving to White Rock 18 years ago, I continued making the trek for my checkups and cleanings because of the quality care I have received. The office staff is second to none and I always enjoy conversing with them while I am awaiting my appointments. Many people I know can't quite understand why I am always looking forward so much to going to the dentist, so I tell them it is like visiting really good friends you haven't talked to for 6 months. Went to Dr. Tschach only twice. Once to get my teeth cleaned and once for him to check out a sore tooth. The cleaning was neither here nor there. But when I went to get my sore tooth checked, there was some miscommunication or something and Dr. Tschach started working on the wrong tooth. I informed him it was my other tooth and sighed and slammed his clipboard down on the countertop.
I asked him if I was putting him out by telling him about which tooth hurt and he said I was. So I told him I would make it easier for him by leaving and I got up out of the chair and told the receptionist as I was

My family have been patients of Dr. Tschach for 10 years. I love this office so much. I worked in the dental industry and didn't change offices to the one I worked at because I love and respect the work he does.
The ladies at the front are always kind, friendly and make us feel welcomed. I am sorry the other reviewer wasn't happy with their experience, however I would encourage anyone to not dismiss this office based on that one person's experience, my experience has been 100% the opposite and when I popped on to the website to get some info and saw that review it bothered me. We have been devoted patients of Dr. Steve for over 17 years now. I think that pretty much says it all! Our children, when they were young (they're all adults now), were always put at ease and made to feel very comfortable by the entire staff. We have always found Roberta, Joanne, Jan, Dana, Deanna, Coleen, Danya and, of course, Dr. Steve, to be thorough, efficient, pleasant, good-humored and professional in all respects. We are always warmed by how each staff member remembers details of conversations from 6 months earlier (I wish I could!). Four years ago we sold our home and considered moving

Very poorly run office. 1. One receptionist in particular is not detail oriented so information was not being passed onto me about my daughters dental work needed prior to me leaving the office. And this was on our VERY FIRST APPOINTMENT with this dentist! My daughter had THREE cavities and nobody informed me of this until my daughter told me after our appointments were all said and done. I contacted THEM to ask about her cavities and why nobody at the front desk even mentioned it to me on my way out the door so I could book a follow up appointment.
