I contacted them to get my taxes completed which they assured me would be complete and filed before the deadline when penalties would arise. Everything went well to start with then when the deadline came up I had heard nothing from them. So I called to try to get ahold of the accountant I was dealing with. I Have now, over the span of several weeks, left several voice mail messages, talked to the reception to leave a message (twice), sent several emails etc. No returned calls or anything.
I am now owing significant penalties on my taxes due to this.

Submitted my taxes in april before the due date, today is aug 18th and they just put in my claim to the cra and they told us they had submitted over a month ago. Nothing else from me was needed to cause this delay, the excuse was "we were very busy". I paid the almost 300 rip off even though they didnt get us a penny more than turbo tax would have, and will never use them as accountants again. They were so unprofessional in their dealings with me and my family.
