Dr. Mary-Anne Svoboda & her experienced team recognize the pivotal importance of oral health from the earliest of ages. Children's dental needs are of particular significance, as they define how a child's oral health will evolve through adulthood. To recognize potential problems and focus on prevention, we recommend that you bring your child to see us as soon as their new teeth are starting to erupt, usually around their first birthday.
Let's start by dispelling a myth! If you are under the misconception that a child's primary or 'baby teeth' are unimportant because they are "just going to fall out anyway's", it's time to change your belief! Primary teeth hold an important place in a person's development into adulthood.literally. In addition to chewing, primary teeth are integral as place holders and spacers for adult teeth.
A cavity is when the tooth decays or breaks down and creates a hole. That hole can grow bigger and deeper over time, which is why it's important to get it repaired with a filling. How do cavities form? From plaque. Plaque is a sticky, slimy substance made up of the bacteria in your mouth. That bacteria makes acids, and when plaque clings to your teeth, the acids eat away at the outer layer of your teeth called enamel.

We had the worst experience at this place. We took our 3 yr old daughter some time ago for cleaning. As soon as we entered, there was no warmness in any of the staff. We got the feeling all they wanted was our insurance info and money. The dentist or the staff had no discussions with us whatsoever, and literally asked us to hold my daughter down so they can clean her teeth. I hate to say but she even got injured in the process. My daughter is still traumatized from this experience.
I wouldn’t even go to this place if this was the last place in the world for dentist!

Honestly.. this place operates as a factory. As a parent with a busy schedule, yes.. speed and efficiency are important but not at the expense of care for my child. This place suggest that they are experts in dealing with children. However, they move them in and out for efficiency of revenue not for care. Their strategy is to make the first two visits as pleasurable as possible and then it is all down hill from there. Any sign of a slight deviation from the time they allocate results in “let’s use gas to calm them”. Seriously ? On a 6 year old ? Oh did I mention that they want to charge you

Wonderful with both kids and parents! Patient and understanding and do not do unnecessary work. 5 star experience. UPDATE: It has now been several months in which I have been taking both of my kids here. The dentist and all the people working for them are the most customer focused, compassionate group of individuals I have ever dealt with professionally. I highly reccomend this place to anyone, particularly if your kids are dentist adverse, they will take such good care of them. Thank you so much!

My son has been going to Park Place since he was 2. We really love this dental office! The staff are extremely friendly & knowledgeable. We have not had any bad experiences with any staff member since attending. They are fantastic with kids. My son was afraid to go to the dentist for a while when we started. Now, he's ready & waiting at the door so he can go! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a kid's dentist!

Park Place Junior is an amazing place!! Hands down amazing staff! But most importantly Dr. Alexia and her beautiful bubbly energetic always happy Assistant Beatrice always with a beautiful smile oh my world!! That girl is amazing at what she does!!! My daughter was so nervous.

My son has been going to ParkPlace Junior for the last year and a half. Thus far, our experience has been great! We have experienced another dental office prior, which was not as welcoming or playful as ParkPlace Junior.
The receptionist is very friendly and approachable. In the waiting room, there is a children's waiting room and an adult waiting room. The children's waiting room has a separate TV and toys for them to enjoy.
Each of the dental hygienist and general dentists my son has encountered has truly tried to make the experience for my son enjoyable. The dental hygienists let him know

Highly recommend this place for your children. The staff is extremely friendly and great with kids. I took my 2 1/2 yr old son for the second time and the dentist assistant was very patient and playful with my son to help him feel more comfortable while checking his teeth (not to mention they are thorough with the check up and cleaning). The doctor was great too. I've taken my son to a regular dentist and nothing compares to a place like this that specializes with children :D Thank you ParkPlace Junior!!!! We really appreciate the special treatment you have given our son.
