Gillian is proud to serve the pets and animal owners of the Brampton area as a Registered Veterinary Technician. Gillian was born in England but grew up in Toronto.
We want to hear from you! Our goal is to consistently deliver the best available patient care and exceptional client service, and your valuable feedback helps us to both achieve that goal and to communicate the value of our services to others. Please also consider leaving feedback about your experience here so that others may learn more about the quality of our care.
As loving pet parents, we want our animal companions by our side for as many years as possible. At Dixie Road Pet Clinic, we believe the best way to ensure this happens is by making a commitment to their ongoing wellness. By bringing your pet in for regular checkups, you'll help protect him or her from many of the common ailments that can affect companion animals.
If you've ever read the back of your pet's food package, you know how many ingredients there are. Many of these things are hard to pronounce, let alone understand. Let's face it: the topics of nutrition and weight control can be confusing, even for the most seasoned pet parent. If you need a little guidance in this area, you're not alone.

Great supportive staff with a kind heart. Very passionate about looking after the health and happiness of the furry members of your family. They looked after our poor pomeranian who was experiencing an extensive allergic reaction causing terrible heat spots. Thank you for all your professional care!

I’ve been coming here for years! Always take good care of my fur babies and everyone is so kind! Ceasar boy Mackhan is well taken care of here, so was my last dog of 15 years. Great vets!

Worst pet clinic. I would not recommend this clinic. They use to be a good clinic, and now they are the worst. They do not care if your pet is not doing well. Be prepared to pay out of pocket for a walk-in clinic. They are usually fully booked for the week and will refer you to emergency clinics or if your dog can wait till the next available appointment (a week later). I paid $200 out of pocket in the last two weeks because they are closed on a Wednesday or fully booked. What's new? It does not matter if it is an urgent matter. They are not helpful at ALL.

I was at Dixie Rd Vet this morning for an appointment I had to wait over two weeks for. One of their technicians Jillian was very confrontational with me and exercised no customer service skills. I finally had to say that I would be leaving them after years of taking my little dog there. They printed out part of her history. For, which they charged 30 dollars and the file was incomplete. They say they will e-mail the rest. Now my pet will have to wait even longer to get treatment, all thanks to a cantankerous Jillian. They have lost a repeat customer due to her ineptitudes.

HIGHLY disappointed with the service, I brought my cat in for his post neuter appointment he was in and out within 5 minutes. I am advised later on that he is missing a vaccine that they were supposed to give to him at this post neuter appointment. I brought him in for a pain his stomach the next vist and paid $900 to learn that he was simply constipated. They keep emailing and texting me to book him in for his past due for the vaccine that they forgot but its been 3 days no one replies or calls back. I asked for an appointment after my cats got quite injured after a fight I am advised theres no

I called Dixie Road Pet Clinic today to book an appointment for my dog who is in initial stage of skin infection. I was told that the earliest available date is Aug 16. I mean, why would I pay for yearly membership if I have to go to emergency hospital to get attention for my pet. Yes, I agree with a lot of people that this membership is money grab and nothing more than that. I have this membership for both of my dogs from last couple of years and when I needed this service the most I was not able to use it. I am with this clinic since April 2014 and I think due to COVID pet rush, vets are in extreme

I used to take my Princess (dog) to this clinic from when I first got her and she was having some health issues. Dr. Yamada was awesome with my little girl and helped me nurse her back to health. Fast forward a few years (after recommending this clinic to my neighbours) and them taking both of their babies to this clinic. The team of ladies that worked at this office as well as the veterinarians took it upon their self to get involved in a divorce case that had nothing to do with them! That is when this clinic started to show their true colours and stopped caring about the animals. The sad part

I strongly advise to stay away from this clinic and their "membership" program which is nothing more than a money grab. I would not recommend this clinic at all - during a time where my pet was in need to see the vet, Dixie Road Pet Clinic was not helpful at all. I will definitely not be returning or renewing my membership.
1. They have a "call centre" that receives your phone call and takes your "message" - they then forward it to the staff who will then call you hours later. It does not matter that you may be doing something at that time, if you do not pick up, they leave you a message and when

I do not recommend this pet clinic. I have had two separate issues. The first problem was my cat had a small lump on his side which they did one needle sample. They said they did not know what it was and wanted to perform surgery on my cat. It ended up just going away on its own, whatever it was. Without doing any further imaging or any other tests, they wanted to do surgery on my cat when he did not even need it. Next, I took my cat to the emergency clinic, which were great. They sent us home with a medication for my cat to help ease some of his symptoms. We also decided that it would be best
