Yes, in the right quantity fluoride is extremely beneficial for strengthening teeth and preventing tooth decay. We follow and support the Canadian Dental Association recommendation of having your child visit the dentist at one year of age or within 6 months after the eruption of the first baby tooth.

I can’t say enough how great they are with children. Dr Dicks and Mandy?(I think) are always so patient with my almost 4 year old. They communicate with him on his level and we always have a great experience. I’ve also never had any issues being a patient there myself, but mostly wanted to just praise them on how great they are with the kids 😊

We have been going to Gateway Dental for years. The staff have always been great with all members of our family.
Recently though I feel that they are just out for my money. I pay a lot to have great coverage(100%) and since Covid started I have been told to pay extra with each visit. When I questioned it, I was told it's a covid surcharge that… my insurance doesn't cover. A 10% extra charge for everything that is done. WOW. I feel like I am just lining pockets considering the environment in the office should have already been a clean space.

After having a traumatic experience at a different dental office resulting in panic attacks and high anxiety I hadn’t gone to the dentist in over a year. I was recommended Gateway Dental by a few clients of mine so I figured I’d give it a shot. The space is nice a open and clean, everyone was friendly. I honestly was expecting to have much higher… anxiety going into my appointment but the person I was in with was amazing. She explained everything she was doing and made me feel so much better. I will be back and I just want to say thank you so much!

I give this center a 1. I brought my 2 yr old and 3 yr old here and after a half hour wait they took us in, COUNTED their teeth AND THEN told us they dont work on toddlers and charged me 50$ to basically count their teeth! they COULD have told me this in the beginning I wouldnt have wasted my time bringing them! I wont be returning here. so take NOTE anyone wanting to bring their toddlers here they will waste your time and money!

As always, I had a great appointment with Dr. Dicks and her team today!
I have had a lot of work done on my teeth and jaw, and she is the wonderful dentist, and her team is enjoyable. The team is always very informative and takes time to explain processes and treatment recommendations. Dr. Dicks, and her assistants, always take into consideration… my anxiety and pain concerns; and ensure that I am at ease and ready before they start any treatment. Attending appointments with this team is like a visit with old friends, as they are friendly, kind, and talkative as they complete their work

Don't understand how anyone has ever had a negative experience here!! Everyone was so kind and helpful! I had an emergency and they took me in the next day! When I called they didn't think they'd be able to fix… my problem the next day, but low and behold they got me in sooner and fixed the issue! Never had such a pleasant visit with a dentist in my life! Thank you so much to such a wonderful team! I will be back!
