I have been going to Balsam Spa since 2015 for various services, such as eyebrow threading, waxing, manicures, pedicures and facials. I wouldn’t imagine going anywhere else. The staff are beyond friendly and take the time to make you feel comfortable. Not only that but the service is always amazing. My pedicures last for months and my eyebrows are always shaped so nicely. My mom and I love coming to this place!

My visit to Balsam Spa in Newmarket for a pedi was a real treat! I was a bit nervous at first, because I have avoided spas and salons since COVID, but quickly felt at ease by the obvious care and steps taken to protect guests.
Brandy did a beautiful job on my toes and her foot and calf massage left me feeling so relaxed. Unfortunately, the colour I chose was out of stock, but the substitution was close. My only wish was that the seating was a bit more comfy.

My First time to visit Balsam Spa, I was very impressed with the level of quality and professionalism. From the moment I walked in I was warmly welcomed and my entire visit was completely enjoyed. I indulged in a Relaxation massage, and the Luxurious manicure & pedicure. Miss Sheena made sure I had a wonderful experience by letting me know what to expect and making sure i felt pampered and relaxed. I will definitely return and would recommend Balsam Spa.

What an incredible experience I just had. I booked an appointment for a shellac manicure and had the pleasure of meeting Binal. I had walked to my appointment and during my time there it began to rain. Binal… offered to drive me home. I am beyond touched and very grateful for not only the best manicure I have ever had, but also from her kindness. This was beyond exceptional service. Thank you for everything.

This is my go to for all things beauty. Sheena is my girl and I have literally followed her around Toronto until she landed here in newmarket. And I am so glad she did. The spa is nicely done, relaxing without feeling like you need to whisper. They offer a ton of services of which I have only had a handful done. But everything is done well. Waxing, mani/pedi, lash lift and tint and massage are just a few that I have enjoyed. Tell your friends! Tell your family! You will happy you gave them a try.

Amazing spa! I called in and made an appointment at short notice and they were very accommodating. I was greeted by the staff who were friendly and professional. I waited less than 5 minutes. I was then taken into a massage room and it was by far the best massage I have ever received! (I've probably had at least 30). When it was finished, I was offered tea and water and to relax as long as I liked. Very welcoming and serene environment. Highly recommend!!

Definitely a 5 star service! Needed to have a mani/pedi and Sheena was able to accommodate me immediately! Not only did I receive one of the better mani/pedi's I've ever had, but Sheena was made the experience relaxing and enjoyable. She's also got an awesome sense of humor if you can get it out of her! Being from the city, I've seen my fair share of badly kept salons/spas, and Balsam is by far up to par with all standards a salon should have! Will definitely return!

Not a fan. I came by to do a little threading - something that usually can be done at any mall in 5-10 minutes on a walk-in basis. Here, the receptionist brought me a questionnaire asking for all my information - name, address, etc. - similar to those you compete in a doctors office. Definite overkill. And even though i had an appointment, i was kept waiting for more than 15 minutes, and not because there was a client before me. I think the lady was on her lunch break, judging by a take-out container in the room.
