What a sketchy place AND PEOPLE!
Start with Appointment.
==> Appointment time. 12 PM and 1 PM for both of my cars. I was there before that time. Asked Receptionist (Service advisor) how long will it take to do oil change? Said about 1 hour.
At 1:30 None of my car was even inside the bay for oil change.
Asked him how long again? Said another 30-40 Minutes.
==> First car was out at 2:30. Asked

Went there for an alignment and oil change. They showed me the problem with the alignment and told me it's just a bad tires. They ask me to have it changed first then come back if there's still an issue with the steering. I like the way they showed me the issue first and the posible solution before they disect my vehicle.
I only pay for the oil change.

I’m new to Edmonton and needed an out of province inspection for my Alberta plates. I found this place on google and trusted their good reviews. I scheduled an appointment well ahead of time for 8am.. dropped off the vehicle and went for a walk for 2 hours.. they called me saying my rear axis fluid was leaking.. an extra $380 or something.. they said if I don’t get it done, they wouldn’t approve my inspection so I had no choice.
1 month ago, I had a full inspection done on my car in Ontario and got brand new brakes, rotors, etc.

James, Tom and Mike are absolutely the fairest, knowledgeable and professional people that I have been blessed to meet. As a tow truck operator, I'll be the first to admit that the trucks are worked hard, as such, they break. Mike replaced my front leaf springs and brake caliper, Tom assisted as well as changed my oil pvc box, while James ran out to get the much needed parts. These fine gentlemen went above and beyond to diagnose, repair and return my tow truck to me in a matter of a few hours. Thanks to their efforts and skills, I was back at work in no time. I will forever be eternally grateful

AutoRx was highly recommended by family friends over a decade ago and we have only had very positive experiences with them. James and his staff (Matt, Tom, Sajin, Mike, and others) always provide expert and honest advice on what should be addressed immediately versus what can be held off for a while longer. It is clear they are not trying to tack on items to bump up the bill.

Had to get my Transmission replaced. I had a very good experience here, pleasure to deal with. James was very informative and upfront with everything. He made sure to keep in contact. He didn't rush the job (which is really important to me). He took the proper realistic time to make sure everything was correct before giving the vehicle back to me, and it has been great so far. I called in for a quote to change a low beam headlight bulb on my Subaru Outback, which isn't a simple job. When I received the quote, I was a bit doubtful they knew that it wasn't a typical bulb change. They squeezed me in the same day and finished the job quicker than I expected. I was surprised that their price was so good, job was done quickly and well. Clean waiting area and friendly owner and staff. I'm so excited to find a place that is familiar with Subarus and much more affordable than other places.

At first I was skeptical dealing with AutoRx after reading the negative comments from Spencer. I asked them for a quote to do the seasonal change of 4 tires (rims on), James Yong, the owner, quoted me $8/tire on rim while Kal tire charges $12/tire. So, I decided to give them a try. While I was waiting for my car, another customer came in and asked them to check her BMW. She told me she had been dealing with James for over 15 years and found them honest, excellent service and reasonably priced. While we talked for 20 minutes, the technician came out and told her there was some oil leaks and fixed

Went for an out of province inspection, it was the best price I could find and the shop looked nice, the waiting room was awesome and I think it was the owner/manager was a great guy to deal with and was very nice to my kids that were getting bored, I would recommend and would absolutely go back myself

My fiancé introduced me to Clarence when he was the Service Manager at a local dealership. He moved on to AutoRx. Last year I was blessed with a new car and took it to Clarence for some extra service. I’ve never had a shop deal with my car so efficiently, with so much care and time taken to answer any questions. They are on time with there appointments and have you out in quick order. Reliable, honest and goes above and beyond. I’m fairly certain that unless your mechanic is your best friend you would be hard pressed to get better service.
